95 degrees and humid....you'll find me in with the heifers and dry cows under the giant fan. That looks comfortable. I hope they don't mind my lawn chair. Thanks once again Eric & Dad for all the hard work put in both in farming and filming. It really is neat to be "by your side" on the farm.
Cut up an old car tire sidewall and superglue it on like new tread. 3M Scotch-Weld works surprisingly well for getting a bit of extra life out of your tires.
I need to pass along a lot of “thank you for farming” from people that see me when I’m wearing your t-shirts. I first starting telling them about your channel but that became too long winded, now I just say you’re welcome and pass along your channel info.
Thanks for the different views with the camera. We get a better perspective of how the different seeding and fertilizing is done. Barn floor maintenance is very interesting also. So much planning and thought goes into maintaining the floor. That new tractor has some cool accessories. Stay safe.
hope your cab has a/c. here in MT we are still getting below 30 degrees at night. 10 days ago we had over a foot of snow and crazy winds. after that we've had 2 + inches of rain. so thankful for the water! Gods blessings on your land and crops.
really like the look of that Massey tractor.... it looks so modern. Almost Transformer-ish. Can't wait to see the meadow pasture situation for the dry cows and heifers. Also curious to see how the manure injection works out on this year's corn crop compared to just spreading it.
Keeping this tilled would be good, you want to keep air mixed in or “aerobic”. If it smells bad it’s anaerobic and is simply rotting. Adding wood chips would be beneficial as to make good compost you need “brown” material and while manure is brown in color it’s actually counts as the green material. 4X more brown than green when blended. Also pickup a cheap non-contact thermometer. If done right, you should see warmth from the breakdown process. I was making compost from my horse manure in one yard bins, typically saw 135 degrees inside the pile. Love your content.
What’s neat about injecting the liquid fertilizer is the process also provides some aeration to the soil which has to help… especially with the foliage crops.
Thank you for great video Eric. Love the looks of that Massey. Are you guys planning on keeping it? Hope your weather cools down a little, been pretty warn here in Florida too. Thanks again for all your hard wook give dad our best. God bless you all.
Amazing video Eric! Great shots of the PikRite. Very nice demo/review of the Massey 6S. Looking forward to seeing the next machine you get to try. Thanks for your explanations. Well done!
Eric nice video I like the new Massey tractor 🚜 we have used them for quite a few years now on our farm and have been much happier with them Good luck with your new tractor .
Been watching you for a few months everyday now your videos are great man you and your dad seem to work y'all's butts off must respect for your dedication to your craft look forward to many more videos
With the price of diesel at an all time high, this time of the season must be pretty expensive. Hopefully, milk prices will support this. Well, as a dairy product user, not too high. That’s the problem with energy prices, it effects everything.
You & your dad work together like a well oiled machine. You take a bunch of pressure off your dad Eric. Nice to see. Hope the month of June is good to you.
That’s a lot of manure to haul how many days since you hauled out manure in the calf barn? Cool like those shirt’s . May need another fan close to the front of building to keep bedding dry. When you build this barn love how it’s set up inside . Did you ever think of putting electric window’s up above to open and close in the winter time! That would be nice to have a pasture by the calf barn. Thank you for sharing your videos Eric and like that tractor you drive.
I think I'm about 4 years older than you brother, but I've discovered something from playing summer softball and soccer after chores. The thing I've learned as I'm getting older... golf ain't looking so bad!
I have been watching your chanle pretty much sense you have started it and I have not missed one video. I also work on a dairy farm and love it, I hope to have one some day too. I went to buy some of your merch, but you guys don't sell to Canada. I was just woundering if you ever would? I really like watching your chanle! :)
With all that you fellows have to do, I think your way under paid. I think most folks appreciate what us farmers do to bring quality farm products to them at a reasonably low cost. That said, it sure would be nice if we were paid the same price adjusted costs when inflation, or the standard cost of living increases. Anyway, I think you guys are awesome and I appreciate all you do. Thanks for the videos and I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.
You guys work real hard, and by the looks of your farm shows it. my question, with all of your daily tasks, what percentage of your time is managing manure? Must be pretty high.
Eric here's and Idea about roto tilling the barn, since you like to tinker with the welder you should make 5 shanks that will bolt to the skidsteer bucket, you can back drag with the skidsteer and open up that pack down bedding. Just a thought.
When you are cleaning out your barns, keep all 4 wheels on the ground. Lift boom up and tilt bucket forward. Also try not to break traction once you spin your not getting any forward pressure. When possible don’t spin around, arc your turn. Maybe it will help with not wearing tires out. My guess is that the rear tires wear out very fast. Hope this helps. I don’t miss watching your channel, keep up the good entertainment!
On those bald tires you can get a electric hot cutter that you can regroove them with as long as there's enough rubber over the plys. Have a great day.
Eric, city boy question here. I know the benefits of manure on the crops but I’ve always been curious if there’s any benefit of the sawdust/wood shavings on the fields. Seems like a lot of wood on the fields. Thanks.
Love watching your channel from Guam. Grew up on a dairy farm in Avon, NY. Was wondering about the large concert block, just inside the doorway of the new barn. Just seems to be sitting there. What’s its purpose? Thanks, Mark
Eric I like the guys that haul your liquid manure they do it very professional like as they spread the liquid manure well and you never see any puddles around the farm you can tell they have spread alot of acres. Do they have auto steer on there tractors and do they have a picture of your farm on there screen in there tractor ?
Hey I have a thought for you if you get a snowblower attachment if you clear just enough out down the entire length for the manure wagon you could have your dad back in with the manure wagon and just load it with the snowblower attachment just a thought maybe least one this winter or over the summer from a rental place you might get a good deal and see if you wanna buy it so you can modify the spout a little once again just my thoughts might save you a little bit of time and make that whole job of cleaning out bedding a lot easier from your low ceiling heifer barn or your special-needs penn
Have thought about cleaning that barn a little differently first put the skid steer in and then back the spreader in then to load. you push towards the wagon right now every push you make to get a bucket moves the manure away from the wagon
You really need to get those very heavy tankers off your fields and go to a dragline method of application. Still have the advantage of incorporation but not serious problem of compaction.
For the dry manure that you put back under the fans would it be better/ easier to load the manure wagon and use that to spread in the barn? Also after seeing how well the fans are working for the new barn would you add them to the milking herd?
Hard as you guys work today, I can't help but wonder how hard the "5th" generation dairymen had to work. Maybe Dad has some old pics of the dairy back in the day. Might make a good episode.
When you were talking about your shirts you interjected on yourself saying "It kind of hurts to run" and I thought that was the t-shirt design, and, not gonna lie, I think it works.
do like that massy tractor and i like how you explain how the equipment works . may sound dumb i do know its hard work with what you do but it sounds fun im glad i found your youtube i play farming sim 22 so i like learning how it works in real life thanks again love the vids take care and cant wait for more

Well said, with a bit of great humor added!
120 and humid here, not an issue.
Ya can’t beat the Massey’s 💪😉, your a great worker that’s for sure. A pleasure to watch as always, have to get me one of them T-Shirts ASAP
Cut up an old car tire sidewall and superglue it on like new tread. 3M Scotch-Weld works surprisingly well for getting a bit of extra life out of your tires.
In Australia we call that bush mechanics at its finest 🫡 good stuff 😂😂

Hi Eric and dad video was awesome lots hard work and lots of blessings are coming your way to you and your dad and families 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you again for the video. The fans in the heifer barn is very interesting that it keeps the bedding so dry. Have a great weekend.
That big fan really dries out the bedding. What a good idea. I'm sure it will keep the cattle cool too! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the different views with the camera. We get a better perspective of how the different seeding and fertilizing is done. Barn floor maintenance is very interesting also. So much planning and thought goes into maintaining the floor. That new tractor has some cool accessories. Stay safe.

135? Get's that warm?!
I'm liking these longer videos. God bless and stay safe.
Great video Eric field work is what I would love to do if I was a farmer but I'm not. So ill continue watching you and your dad. Aloha brother 🤙🏼🙏
What a HUGE difference those fans are making in the barn. Cool to see your investment pay off so well, that will make some fertilizer too!
Very cool clip on how the manure spreader floor works. Always wondered how it worked. As always. Great video.
I’m so impressed with those fans. They keep the manure nice and dry while saving you money on wood flakes. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge
I love learning about all the specialized equipment used on your farm. You got some great shots today.
This brings back good memories of being on the farm during planting season. Thanks a lot for the video.
At home in Oregon? LOL. Great video. Your animals always look so clean, relaxed and happy. Amazing job.
Glad the fans are working out for you. Always love your videos. Thanks till the next one.
Amazing how dry the litter stays under those big fans….well worth the price. Great video, thanks
Those are awesome fans. Most of them that large are up in the $25,000 range.

Greetings from Turkey. I watch it with love and liking.
Good work, nice "10th Generation Dairyman" t-shirts.
Always good viewing while on nightshift in South Australia
Been watching you for a few months everyday now your videos are great man you and your dad seem to work y'all's butts off must respect for your dedication to your craft look forward to many more videos
Great vid… definitely will be ordering more merch. I get asked all the time about my 10th Gen hoodie…
Free money spreading on the fields!!! Love it
Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family.
With the price of diesel at an all time high, this time of the season must be pretty expensive. Hopefully, milk prices will support this. Well, as a dairy product user, not too high. That’s the problem with energy prices, it effects everything.
Yes the milk price is very good right now thankfully
You & your dad work together like a well oiled machine. You take a bunch of pressure off your dad Eric. Nice to see. Hope the month of June is good to you.

Kudos on your interesting camera placements! Another great vid BTW!
Theory behind spreading dry on top of injected liquid manure?
I think I'm about 4 years older than you brother, but I've discovered something from playing summer softball and soccer after chores. The thing I've learned as I'm getting older... golf ain't looking so bad!
Great presentation of your new merch! You just keep getting better and better!
I have been watching your chanle pretty much sense you have started it and I have not missed one video. I also work on a dairy farm and love it, I hope to have one some day too. Love the channel! Just ordered the leather patch hat last night and it already shipped. Looking forward to repping your channel
Thank you!

I really like your all that hard work a d keep alive that tradition. USA 🇺🇸 Pakistan 🇵🇰 ♥️
You should make available boxes of manure. I have several people o would love to send them to!
"Hey cows what is you bed made of?" COW RESPONDS "oh you know my dried shit and sawdust!"
You guys work real hard, and by the looks of your farm shows it. my question, with all of your daily tasks, what percentage of your time is managing manure? Must be pretty high.
17:50 You tricked me. I thought you were setting it up to discover a delightful beverage in the corn planter that was setting off the sensor.
Eric here's and Idea about roto tilling the barn, since you like to tinker with the welder you should make 5 shanks that will bolt to the skidsteer bucket, you can back drag with the skidsteer and open up that pack down bedding. Just a thought.
Ein Kratzboden ist nicht nur Stand der Technik, sondern auch viel leichter und praktischer.

Great feeling being finished!
Great video. It would be interesting to see how much the fans increase the nutrient value of the manure for the fields. More Pooh less wood shavings
Should have watched all of the video. Love that you share your farm with us.
I wonder if you scooped up the last 2 heifer pins and then backed the spreader up and used it to spread manure to cover the concrete?
On those bald tires you can get a electric hot cutter that you can regroove them with as long as there's enough rubber over the plys. Have a great day.
Eric, city boy question here. I know the benefits of manure on the crops but I’ve always been curious if there’s any benefit of the sawdust/wood shavings on the fields. Seems like a lot of wood on the fields. Thanks.
What it do from N. TEXAS !! LOVE THE CHANNEL!!! BEEN WATCHING SINCE THE BEGINNING!!!
Love watching your channel from Guam. Grew up on a dairy farm in Avon, NY. Was wondering about the large concert block, just inside the doorway of the new barn. Just seems to be sitting there. What’s its purpose? Thanks, Mark
We put it there to give the youngest calves more shelter for when it's cold.
It's really nice that you all are gonna let the hiefers out to pasture. Also, did you ditch autosteer device?
Yea thank you for all you guys do for us keep the awesome videos coming god bless
Eric I like the guys that haul your liquid manure they do it very professional like as they spread the liquid manure well and you never see any puddles around the farm you can tell they have spread alot of acres. Do they have auto steer on there tractors and do they have a picture of your farm on there screen in there tractor ?
Look at the loose bolt on the top arm at 20:01 to 20:04, whne you raise it up, you can see the bolt really move.
Good eyeball on that
awesome video Eric. thank you bud
Eric - with energy prices going up, any thoughts of getting solar panels on your roof to power those fans?
Have thought about cleaning that barn a little differently first put the skid steer in and then back the spreader in then to load. you push towards the wagon right now every push you make to get a bucket moves the manure away from the wagon
Another great video good job glad to see your corns done
Watch your videos during breakfast, wish they were a bit longer. Very entertaining
I always watching on your videos and i learned a lot when it comes to dairy farming.
Nothing better than working on the farm and watching Eric on your birthday. Love the videos keep up the great work. Btw the Massey looks really good
When you said you are at home in Oregon, I did a double take. I had the impression you lived In Pennsylvania!
You really need to get those very heavy tankers off your fields and go to a dragline method of application. Still have the advantage of incorporation but not serious problem of compaction.
Thanks for sharing!
For the dry manure that you put back under the fans would it be better/ easier to load the manure wagon and use that to spread in the barn?

I thought for sure Eric was gonna pull out a Mountain Dew when he was checking that row unit.
It would a little bit of work😬but raising those would be nice 👍. I bet the MASSY would cost a few loads of milk!!
Thanks Eric
Second! How is the Massy Ferguson working? Thanks for sharing!😁👍
Good job man. Love your channel keep up the good work.
Have you thought about putting high sideboard on teh spreader to be able to haul more?
I LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS ERIC HAVE BLESSED DAY
Loose bolt on the close up of the row as you lifted it , at the 20.01 mark , Can the skid steer tires be regrooved?
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always!!!
When you were talking about your shirts you interjected on yourself saying "It kind of hurts to run" and I thought that was the t-shirt design, and, not gonna lie, I think it works.
Another great video young man.
What do you spray the cover crop with to kill it off while allowing the soybeans or whatever new crop to germinate/grow?
Hey Eric, How much milk does the average cow give a day? Thanks for the education on dairy farming. Great content.
I think he said in the past 100lbs a day herd average.
do like that massy tractor and i like how you explain how the equipment works . may sound dumb i do know its hard work with what you do but it sounds fun im glad i found your youtube i play farming sim 22 so i like learning how it works in real life thanks again love the vids take care and cant wait for more
I love watching your videos, can you please put Turkish subtitles? Good luck with. ❤️
Your the best Eric!!!!
I like the look of the Massey.
👍 Great content Eric
Another great video
you should have "borrowed" that VT and hooked to the Massey so you could have some fun tillage....Ha!
Love your videos
HOpe the corn and beans grow like wildfire for you!!!!
can you find the new plastic tires for the skidsteer.
Great vídeo.
Are you considering having a 3rd fan installed?
How long will it be until the Kubota hits the ceiling fan?
Gotta be paying attention
