The thing that does it for me with this amp is the amazing amount of clarity in the notes with this amp, each note is clear, define and punchy with being to harsh, its pretty impressive. Not many companies create beasts like this.
Hey guys RJ here, the player. (Derek is my boss) Thanks for the questions! Trevor, the Recto Horizontal 2x12 is the win. Jonathan, the 10 Watt settings are great for the best saturation at low volume, very natural and silky. If you want a warmer lead tone, flip to 10 Watts. Thanks again guys!
We've got some fresh videos awaiting you, including a demo of "Metallica Tones" available on the Mark V. Check it all out here: ruclips.net/video/72o7sfsF3WE/видео.html
I have owned both, and went with the Roadster in the end. Now, I think I should gone with the MKV.....! So I don't really want to say one is better than the other. The MKV definitely cuts through better and has a tighter response. The Roadster has that Recto chunk that you've gotta love, and it's got some fantastic cleans (but so does the MKV). The best thing to do would be to take your favorite guitar to your local Boogie dealer and check 'em both out! Thanks for watching man! If we can help with anything else, let us know!
I have a pristine mk4 b head and use it with a 212 recto v30 with other Mesa extensions like widebody thiel or lonestar small cab. Those two cabs with C90.Cant go wrong
Nice, this has persuaded me to get the Mark V instead of the Engl - it's quite overboard with the gain anyway. Great for heavy metal, but the Mark V screams across the spectrum! And it does GREAT for heavy metal sounds too. ei: Lamb of God.
+Luke Walker it's strange because I hear many people saying it does...then I hear people saying it doesn't, I guess it's Different Strokes for different folks. I'm looking for a brutal down tuend new metal sound...but also acdc style crunch ( weird that people can like both right?)

insanelyobese5123 Agreed!!! Thanks for watching.
Insanelyobese5123 Agree but its indimidating. Seems like it would be unforgiving and demanding but sound amazing in the right hands.
Thank you for not using active pickups.
Great job Derek! Your playing , and settings rocked. Looking forward to owning one.
the best amp i've ever heard, absolutely.
agreed.
It is truly a beast! Few other amps can even touch the versatility of the MKV with such stellar tone on each setting.
Best video I've seen on this app so far! Great playing! Top notch!
Right on Tim, thanks for watching!
Well..I like it...your playing and the amp ;)
A Mesa with a great clean tone! This thing sounds like a real winner, and is now on the short list of "gotta have" amps for me.
Agreed!!! These things have great cleans....The "Fat" mode on channel 1 is fantastic.
fyi, the channel eq settings are still active when using the graphic eq sliders.
Thanks for the excellent overview!
Thanks for watching, Eric!
sick demo.
love that esp eclipse!

DO YOU LIKE THE 10 WATT SETTINGS? I LOVE THE 10 WATT ON MINE!
Great, great sounds out of the amp...I tried the combo in the store and couldn't get these kinds of sounds!!
Thanks for the comment, James!
The combo is a different animal when plugged in to 2x12 or 4x12 rectifier cabs.
What mic did you use to record this, or was it cab simulation, or impulse?
Sick Esp you're playing!

Best sounding review so far. Set a bit bright in all channels though.
Thanks for the comment!
When you demoed the clean channel it sounded like you were using an RC boost
Earned a sub! Great video man!
srv type of sound from this amp! awesome!!!!
Hey Derek what's your thoughts on this amp vs the roadster?

What is the best 2x12 cabinet for the Mark IV?
I have a pristine mk4 b head and use it with a 212 recto v30 with other Mesa extensions like widebody thiel or lonestar small cab. Those two cabs with C90.Cant go wrong
Awesome amp! Wish I had one. Go Giants! Are u from ca?
From Vacaville! Go Giants!
Звучит классно,чистый звук!

Hey man are you playing through any pedals
Charles Sadler No pedals! Straight in.
best amp ever
super top!!!!!
Is this with 6V6 or EL34's?
Hi Don, this amp was played with the stock 6L6's. The EL34's are an excellent option as well. Thanks for the question!
Let me just win the lottery first
can it get good modern metal tones at bedroom volumes?
It can get great modern metal tones, but you're better off looking elsewhere. A 100 Watt amp is not a bedroom one
You can choose between 10, 45, or 90w on each channel. It sounds just fine at bedroom levels
+Luke Walker it's strange because I hear many people saying it does...then I hear people saying it doesn't, I guess it's Different Strokes for different folks. I'm looking for a brutal down tuend new metal sound...but also acdc style crunch ( weird that people can like both right?)
This amp can do just about anything you want, i'd strongly advise checking one out in a guitar store
Slap through on jbs plus the hard "box ... mark V the better of a few otherwise.
When he used the metal setting he should have played Metallica
Check out our new Mark V Metallica tones demo!
Demo of his one favorite setting for a whole song... Ugh...
Where the fuck is the Metallica video lol
Plays on a Mesa Boogie, doesn't play any Lamb of God riffs... Shame on you sir
before you make a showcase of a gear learn to play mate ;d
