- All the goals scored by Hamburger SV, winner of the 1982/83 European Cup. Hamburg won the trophy overcoming Dynamo Berlin, Olympiacos, Dynamo Kyiv, Real Sociedad and Juventus. That team was coached by Ernst Happel. Lars Bastrup was the team topscorer, with 4 goals.

Did anybody notice that Magath ,who scored the famous goal in the final against Juventus, scored another goal from the same identical position , in the same stadium , against Olympiakos ( round of 16) ?

7 times German clubs have been in finals of European Cup in 9 years (1974-1983) in that era. With 3 different clubs. Hrubesch was the beast in that Hamburg team. Great player. And great coach. Hamburg also won Cup Winners Cup in 1977.
and Borussia munchungladbach won the UEFA cup (Europa League 1975/1979) and Eintracht frankfurt in 1980 in a german final and in the semi final there is 4 german teams
the German teams were also incredible at home, teams like Gladbach,Bayern,Hamburger,Stuttgart,Fortuna Dusseldorf,Eintracht were practically guaranteed to win at home, the Bundesliga was the best league together with the First Division and it wasn't very close with other leagues(Belgian league was also very good at the time).

, als förderndes BFC-Mitglied ( Nr.2000 , Ausweis habe ich heute noch), eine Karte für das Spiel des BFC Dynamo gegen den HSV im Jahn-Sportpark an der Schönhauser Allee in Ostberlin .
Habe sie vor dem Stadion an einen Hamburger für 100 Westmark und ein Adidas Shirt verkauft .
Am Stadion war auch Hans Rosenthal . Umringt von uns Ostdeutschen .
Ich wunderte mich damals , daß er irgendwie gar nicht so anders aussah als wie wir hier . Sein Sakko war zerknittert und er sah von nahem ganz schön faltig aus ... und er verteilte Kugelschreiber ,glaube ich .
