Today is exam . And you're our saviour 😇❤️ I always prefer watching your videos over anyone else. You're amazing sir, keep sharing good stuff. Thanks a lot 🙏
I also have same doubt few others are having. Since the hypothesis is fever-yes and fever-no, then we should calculate the probability of fever or no fever, given the evidence i.e. covid and flu. It makes no sense to me to calculate conditional probability for no evidence i.e. no covid or no flu. There may be gap in my understanding though.
true , i also think in both the cases of fever yes and fever no, covid and flu is always yes. so it must be (covid, flu yes/fever no) and (covid, flu yes/fever yes)
@@yeagerrr1178 the above statement is correct , as question says the person have flu and covid so we consider them "YES" for rest, only fever can be considered yes/no.

This is really simplified and easy to grasp content Thanks to Gate Smashers I was unclear about the complex naming "Naive Bayes Classification" now it is easy
Sir I have a question. X belongs to input coloumns and Y belongs to Output coloumn or predict col. How can we find which are input col and which is output col?
When it is given that we need to calculate person(flu, covid), then as you say we need to determine whether a person has fever if he has flu and cold. But in negative probability, you have taken flu no case and covid no case. I didnt get why you did so ?
sir could you please add eng captions for machine learning and dld playlist bcz we some students couldnt understand hindi sir..we are learning many subjects like os,cn learning throuh your channel,so please provide captions sir..i hope u will do sir.
Thank you so much sir for this very easy and brief explanation. Kindly upload some videos for implementation techniques for advanced algorithms (for MTech). Thank you sir in advance.

yaar aek baat batao , ex2 mai jab bola hai ke person ko flu ,covid already hai hai to fir p(no | flu , coivd ) nikalte time not covid aur not flu kyu le re
Why are we considering the "no flu" and "no covid" in the conditional probability calculation when the question says find "yes fever" for "yes flu and yes covid" ?
Sir, here you have assumed flu and covid as independent sets but its not true as P(flu and covid) !=P(flu) * p(covid). Due to this assumption answer is wrong
Sir apne udhar niche by mistake se galat likha hai kyuki example mai b1 me 2 red and 3 black balls hai, to 2 by 5 ayega and b2 me 3 red 4 black hai to 3 by 7 ayega
how please explain. why are u considering it as "Flu YES|Fever NO" (why is flu yes in this case by default). shouldn't u consider them based on the column value. so don't u have to consider it as "Flu NO|Fever NO"? please explain!! Thanks
@@xoxo4385based on the hypothesis given it is flu yes. So it makes no sense to calculate flu = no | fever = no. Its actually an mistake over here. We need to calculate flu = yes | fever = yes. Same goes for covid. Also in case of covid he calculated covid = no | fever = no while we are supposed to find out the class based on covid = yes. So it should covid = yes | fever = no. In a nutshell, we only need to calculate the conditioal probabilities of the different output classes based on same hypothesis. Then compare those and... higher one wins
sir, emergency!!! if i consider only first 6 persons then flu/no and covid/no probabilities both are 1/1 ? and p(fever=yes)5/6 and p(fever=no) 1/6 is this correct sir??
sir a doubt here fever yes ,no 2 conditions are taken for two different condition where flu/covid is yes for yes case and no for no case but condition that the person has flu and covid that means for both fever yes and no condition flu/covid is yes .... can u please clarify this
@@Thelannistergot he is saying that if fever = no, then p of flu yes = 1/3 when calculating for yes fever, sir used Yes in covid/flu but in No fever sir used No covid/flu

the small values are because denominator was not calculated, we were just comparing numerators.
P (Covid | Fever = No) = 1 / 3 not 2 / 3 and P (Flu | Fever = No) = 1 / 3 not 2 / 3? Am I right?
