It was a "learn to drive" day where driving instructors gave free lessons and they were practicing reversing when I took that clip. I think 3 or 4 people have noticed, but nobody has spotted that Keira is running backwards on the beach shot near the end.
I'm certainly enjoying your trip to Wales. Back in time in Mumbles ... who knew? 😆. Nice drone shots again. The only balls my daughter's first doodle couldn't destroy in seconds were proper tennis balls.
Still working my way through all your videos and thoroughly enjoying. The camera work is very professional but I do get a bit exhausted on your long walks 😂🦆💕
Another great video. When this video arrived in my inbox it reminded me I still had another to watch! Two videos 😀 a great start to our evening. Thanks.
Loved the Video of the Mumbles, it such a pretty place especially the little bay where Keira was playing toward the end. It obvious you like ice cream, if you should make Barry try Zios., they do doggy ice cream to.
Awesome video mate that’s my home , love the poor old guy falling over out the dinghy lol. Very dangerous stretch of water that second biggest tidal range in the world.
Greetings from Poland. Am I seeing things? The shots from Midge taken above the town of Mumbles; are the vehicles going backwards? Is it me Mike? Oystermouth Castle was very impressive. Midge is fantastic - the shots she produces (plus the pilots skills of course) show evrything in a completely different light. The flight out to the lighthouse was superb. The broken ball proves that nothing is "Keira proof". I hope you had a spare or bought her a new one. The pier, and lifeboat staion, was impressive, as was the walk along the promenade. Thanks for producing yet another brilliant video. Stay safe please, See you again soon
Thanks Michael, no you were not seeing things, I reversed the clip but forgot that there was moving subjects in the shot and didn't notice, but some like you did. However, nobody noticed Keira running backwards just before Midge flies off towards the lighthouse 🤣
We love Mumbles and our fave place to visit is Stuarts Artisan Bakery... it is the bestest bakery in the whole wide world for us... the 'Special rolls' are sooo mega delicious and the Bakewells are our dessert of choice. The staff are all loverleee folk & we cannot wait to return :-) We too have a van called Freda :-) Thank you for sharing, it was fab see your super drone footage :-)
Thanks Lili, wish we had known about the bakery, we would definitely have went there as there is nothing like fresh bread and Bakewell mmmmmmm. Happy adventures in Freda 👍
Thanks for sharing another very interesting vlog, with all he historical facts... The drone footage was really awesome as we get to seeing so much otherwise lost to us !!! the funny parts are always very amusing... Lol. Diana
Wonderful vlog. Looks like they have a poppy waterfall going down the inside of the castle by your drone footage. Brilliant footage as always. Keep up the wonderful and interesting work 👍
Another great video from Wales guys, loved all the drone footage. We have not been inside that castle either so it was good to see it from the air. Looks like you are all having a great time 😁👍
Thanks guys, its a pain having to book things like that and we often just turn up and hope for the best, but a big FAIL on that one, but thank goodness for Midge👍
I had 3 years at Swansea Uni back in the early 70s and it has changed a lot. We had a 'Mumbles Run' with a pint in every pub from Mumbles back to Singleton park, around 12 pubs I think. But beer was around 19p a pint then! Re the drone footage round the lighthouse, do you need permission to fly that close?
12 pubs and 12 pints, that's my kind of run. Couldn't argue with 19p a pint, I can remember it under 50p but not that low. Drone is OK as no flying restrictions and as long as its a mini drone under 250g.
@@MikeandTriciaOotnAboot I was born in Swansea and grew up on North Gower. I went to school in Gowerton so I know the Mumbles very well even though I have moved from the area to south east Wales a long time about. I still get down to the area every few weeks for various reasons. Joe's was always the place to go for ice cream. They now have outlets elsewhere in Wales. I have been meaning to take my Mavic 2 Pro down to the Mumbles to take some footage of the lighthouse and pier. There are a lot of other locations that are worth visiting in south Gower. @@markjlewis it certainly does have it's charm, especially the pier and lighthouse. The castle has a lot of renovation going on so I would like to come back some time when that's all finished.

Really wish I could do what you're doing but with 2 dodgy hips, two dodgy knees and a completely uninterested husband, it's quite the challenge !! So until I get my hips/knees fixed exchange the husband I'll travel vicariously through you two. Happy travels
Thanks Jane, Trish just has one bad knee and that's bad enough, so can imagine it must be tough with two bed knees and hips. As for the husband, I'm sure you can come up with something to get him interested, or trade in for a younger model 😉

Hello you three, what's going on in Mumbles with all the vehicles and people going backwards. I know you weren't that far from where the make Dr Who and Maggie is a bit of a TARDIS but I didn't realise you could actually go back in time even if it is slowly.🤔😬 I felt sorry for Kiera with no Doggy Ice cream this time. Nice to see that I'm not the only person who can't pass a dog without stopping to pass the time of day. That's just across the other side of the Severn estuary from us in Gloucestershire. My kind of Seaside, much better than the big brash noisy places. 👍
Hi Nigel, they were playing Michael Jackson songs in the streets that day so people were doing that moonwalking thing where they go backwards.....OK I reversed the clip and didnt think about things going backwards 🙃 well you can't say our videos aren't different. Fabulous drone scenery!! Amazing history in these castles..as always a wonderful journey with you three ❣️ Thanks for taking us along!!
Hi Jackie, hope alls well, yes we love our castles and lots of them in Wales, thanks for watching 👍
