Gordon's getting too comfortable in his disrespectful reality TV character. One of these days someone, likely a chef, is gonna drop him. Age doesn't discriminate when a man is pushed to his breaking point.

I love how the owners sign up for a show literally marketed as Kitchen Nightmares and are shocked when they are told their restaurant is …. a nightmare

@@xCoffeeNWeedx cause usually, the ingredients are bad, the food isnt fresh, and their recipes are bad. He gives them fresh, cheap nearby ingredients, reforms the recipe and menu, and shows them what to do differently.
You know it's all staged, right? The show instructs the owners to act as badly as possible. One owner/chef turned up two hours early to be well prepared, then was told to go back home and arrive half an hour late so Ramsay could shout at her for being late.
The whole show is artificially created drama, that always follows the exact same pattern of 'Delusional owners, but lovely front of house staff -> Ramsay criticising -> owners being in denial -> Ramsay leaving, pissed -> change of heart in the owners -> Ramsay makes brilliant suggestions (always the fucking same ones) -> place turned around -> great success', followed by something they never mention in the show, which is the vast majority of those restaurants going out of business within a year or two after the show.
The whole show is scripted bullshit.

I've worked at two places where the kitchen was run so terribly I was bringing back food CONSTANTLY. This might be the first time this waiter brings back food and with proof can say it's the kitchens fault and they can't complain or say the customer doesn't know what they are talking about.

I always appreciate that while Gordon tells the servers his opinion, he’s never angry with them because he understands it’s not their fault. :) I’ve had to deal with many a customer who doesn’t get that

On the other hand, there have been quite a few servers at the restaurant I work at who will send things to the wrong table and then blame those of us in the kitchen. Not saying that all servers do that, but there are quite a few who do

Honestly: two days ago I had a really really bad restaurant experience. They brought the wrong drink, my mum's salad was mush, the chicken cold, the creme brulee was... Well shit, my mousse au Chocolat wasnt really good either, and for the entrees and the dessert they each took about 30-45 minutes.... So we said to the guy: listen, this is not appropriate, we didn't eat the creme brulee, so we won't pay for it, because it's not eatable and not a creme brulee. Afterwards we wrote an email to the owner and told him about it. He gave us a call the day after and apologized and explained.
But: we stayed friendly to the servers and even left some (rather small, but still) tip....

Chefs usually don’t have any feeling in their finger tips because of grabbing so much hot stuff. When I worked in a kitchen I could grab pans out of a 450 degree oven because I burned my tips so much. You’ll notice when he checks temperature he uses his knuckles or the other side of his fingers
Hah i did the same power move on a waitress at a family gathering. I was a dishwasher at that time so I was used to really hot plates. Cousins gave me sh*t for it.
