In this pair of vintage screwdrivers restoration video I removed all rust by using 7% white vinegar and steel brush wheel. Then I made two pairs of matching wooden scales for the handles and a completely new leather hanger for both screwdrivers.

    👏👏👏Great video as always...👏👏👏
    Only that :
    1. I would install another strap with 2 loops to hang the screwdrivers to keep them higher... those screwdriver tips looks like they shall poke a hole on your pants.
    2. The old fashioned way to poke holes in leather with that fork to sew, it's to hammer over the top of a log with the fibers faceing up. So you have more control and less "caos" during the hammering, the fork can get deeper in the leather, and the tips don't get any blunt, jagged or unsharped you know... it's like the "leather's anvil" 😁
    Cheers keep on restoring...🗝💪⚔️🗜🧐⚒️

Nice job. But video and sound aren't working at the same time. Sound is faster than the video

Thanks! Video and sound is synced, there should not be a problem there. I experience that before while watching videos on RUclips and I just close the video and open it again and it works just fine. It seems that it doesn't load it correctly sometimes.

When you showed “parafin oil”….would that be kerosene here in the United States?

Yes, that is right. Kerosene is actually extracted from parafin oil. Both are good option for heating and light.
