  • Ever get excited over a bag of rice? Well I did when I saw that my local @wildforkforkfoods was now selling a Vegetable Fried Rice. If you followed me for a while you know that my griddled Fried Rice cheat code had been TJ’s frozen veggie fried rice.
So I thought I’d give this one a go. I was pleasantly surprised that this Wild Fork rice is already flavored with Soy, Sesame and Ginger.
Immediately upon opening the bag I could smell the difference. It smelled amazing!
I partially thawed out some Wild Fork medium sized shrimp and headed out to the griddle.
On a medium high griddle, I oiled it well with @chosenfoods Avocado Oil and added three bags of the rice. The smell just intensified, you could tell this was way different than the TJ’s.
I continuously toss the rice around as it cooks for about 8-10 minutes. While it’s cooking up I added some minced Garlic and Ginger from @spiceworldinc
I then added the shrimp on the side with more avocado oil and sauté about 90 seconds per side. I seasoned up the rice and shrimp with @trybachans Original Japanese BBQ sauce.
Stir the rice and shrimp together and add three @happyeggco eggs to the griddle and scramble up. Mixing them in with the rice. I seasoned it all with Everything Seasoning and served it up.
We have found our new frozen fried rice! Everyone loved it and mentioned how much better this Wild Fork rice tasted. The best part of making your own at home… you never get skimped on shrimps!
You gotta head over to your local Wild Fork and make this one for yourself! Check out their chicken, beef and pork too change up the protein and make it your own! Let’s Go!
