Can’t believe I only recently added this to my collection. I slept on this. I have sauvage edt and bleu de chanel edp and aqua di Gio Profumo. This isn’t redundant at all. Opening is definitely smoother than sauvage. I think it’s more versatile than Profumo and it has more sweetness than bleu de chanel. It’s a must have. Get it in the 200ml bottle if you can. It smells nothing like Versace pour homme. Versace is a great underrated house bc of their price point.
you are right Dylan Blue is a scent that is not likeable at first especially the opening.... but man the DRY DOWN is a BEAST.... i get addicted to it the 2nd day and not loving Sauvage anymore... will buy Dylan Blue 2 bottles of 200ML each before it gets reformulated few years from now..
I am glad that you did a 2nd review on this and changed your mind. Versace Dylan Blue is my signature scent but Rasasi Hawas may soon become my signature scent :-)...
You are fantastic Joy...keep it up.im really glad you got back into your reviews .I don't care how long your videos are, always informative and helpful
Much more positive review this time around I see. You look excited about this release and I love seeing that. You know my thoughts on this one, I won't share here but my full review is coming soon. Much love from Canada.
Hahaha. You are funny Joy! If you do a 360 degree turn you face the exact same way as before you turn. So when you say you did a 360 degree turn on this fragrance that means your opinion is exactly the same as before ;) But aside from that - good re-review brother!
You are a wonderful man. Same happened to me had a 10 ml and wasn't loving it then about half way through I started to like it and it fell off the counter and broke 100ml comes in 2 days lol.
Goes to show how a compliment can change our own perception. I used to hate Cedrat Boise for its poor performance (maybe nose fatigue) and plain lemony opening but one-day things changed when my wife complimented how good the opening was.
Cdnim is my top 1 also and even with the 2019 batch, maybe it doesnt project super far but it procjets for a long time, how would u compare the projection of Dylan blue to club de nuit? In terms of duration and lenght
@@MrDamburger the same here thanks for your comment.. People need to know that all this hype is for older batches.. Its really sad that almost all companies are reformulating...
One thing that I agree with you is the time to use this fragrance. It works beautifully in hot evenings. I tried using it in the middle of the day and the incense became unbearable. Anyway, I like your authentic reviews. Watching you from Vietnam.
Nice review! Have you ever had the opposite happen were you did a 360 on loving to disliking a particular fragrance? Not counting reformulations. “Yea that Kouros really isn’t working for me anymore” lol. Thanks for the video. 🙂
I've changed my mind about colognes before. I couldn't stand CDIM at first because I was used to wearing sweeter fragrances. But after a week or so I loved it. Now my favorite colognes are usually fresh or citrusy.
Initially I liked it, especially the opening but the drydown has certain chemical smell that I don't like. Much prefer original VPH or Dior Homme Sport 2017 - both have more natural smell to them.
I go noseblind with dylan blue but people do notice that i am wearing something then i realized dylan blue. Lovely blue scent blind bought this did not like in the first few weeks was lying in my shelf but idk why no even i am digging that opening.
I like your passion, its obvious you love perfumes very much. Let me tell a little story, Dylan Blue was before this little story giving me compliments from friends and family, and i was wearing it at work once where i sweat a bit sometimes, and one day i was very active at work sweating a bit, i was wearing Dylan. And i go out for fresh air vaping a bit on my electronic cigarette. A beautiful girl walks by i could feel her eyes on me like crazy from the side, and when she walked a bit passed me she turn her head around with the most magical smile, I got eye contact with her and her eyes was like in a trance like in a dreamy way. Then she walked slowly away, I never saw her again after that but im 100 % sure it was Dylan that did the magic, it put her in a magic spell. After that day Dylan climbed up even more in my list of perfumes i just could not stop thinking about that episode i was sure the perfume did something, because i could my self feel how it was projecting after I was getting warm and sweaty. I later that day bought 3x 200ml just to be sure i have back up if they reformulate this perfume.
Just bought my first bottle. I initially went to Ulta beauty to buy Dior Sauvage edp. I smelled Dylan Blue also and I knew Dylan blue smelled better to me. I just corrected that mistake this week and got Dylan blue
My Dylan Blue story.. A beautiful co-worker (who every guy liked) followed me throughout the stockroom saying I smell amazing and she couldn't stop following me. She became my girlfriend a couple weeks later. I was 44, she was 23 at the time
I personally would go with the Bvlgari. These both smell great but Bvlgari (to me anyway) seems to have a little more complexity than Versace which I think actually makes it the better choice for MIDDLE AGED men. If you were 20 I'd say Versace. But na, Bvlgari all the way.
I don't know how anyone gets sauvage from that. I get a cross of aqua di gio and invictus. Savage isn't sweet at all to me. Sauvage is peppery, airamatic and musky to me.
The ambroxan in Dylan Blue is apparent, which happens to be the main note from Sauvage. I think Dylan Blue is a sweeter more incense-y take on Sauvage.
@@kevinhayden9030 don't believe the hype on aqua atlantique it is a horror story: went to huddle house and the beautiful waitress she smells a drunk man who smells of alcohol and wet rain musk I allowed her to smell my cologne she said it was me! I just spent 48 dollars on atlantique what a waste of money never i mean never buy aqua atlantique unless you down with smelling like a drunkard who has been sitting in the pouring rain but who has been eating gummy bears as well lol
Brother! Go and read! I wrote there a comment that Dylan blue is my most compliment getter when you published that video and said it’s not your cup of tea... happy you’re in our team 💪💪👍
I wasn't keen at first either but then I avoid frags when they get too much hype anyway. However this is actually a pretty decent scent! I don't find it 'too young' at all, in fact I find it has a little maturity (not too much) which gives it added versatility and makes it great for all ages.
some people are promoting or down voting based on the very fact if they get sponsored or free bottles, and not 100% honest, i am always trying and buying frags and i test it on me...if i like it or hate it, ill tell. some frags changed my mind and i went on buy a full bottle.this is a heavy duty crowd pleasure fragrance. and highly under rated
@@JoyAmin666 some fragrances you may go thru nearly half bottle to appreciate, and i always say fragrance enthusiasts have ' burnt noses' so we really need to pump brakes and appreciate calmly. One love Joy! From Trinidad.

Dylan Blue is a scrubber. Every time I put it on I regret it. An overdose of ambroxan and musk that is super annoying. It smells generic and cheap...a real chemical mess...something a kid on a budget would gift to another kid. It may be more pleasant in the air from a distance but for me as the wearer....nope! Literally can't think of a single occasion I would want to be wearing this sort of scent. I have not seen the first review but I suspect I will agree with it wholeheartedly. Dylan blue is my favourite fragrance of all time. I am glad that u love it now. Love to know who is the nose behind the perfume

Same! Originally I found it bland, recently I have grown to looove it! The dry down is supurb, a delicious masculine fragrance
I agree, tastes can change both ways. There are fragrances I used to like that now not so much.

With almost 30 different fragrances, Dylan Blue is tied for my most complimented with Armaf CDNIM

Ysl y edp or dylan blue which 1 is better?
360° is the same direction after turn so 180° is the correct one😅
I think the side pattern on the box might represent eye glasses 👓 / shades stems?
To me it all sounds like you got a compliment from a 10/10 girl when wearing it 😂

Please compare ADG Profumo with Essenza again.
Chrome Aqua has taken over Dylan blues spot in my collection.
I love Chrome Aqua but performance not very great
