I have a smaller tester bottle of this because I was skeptical it wouldn't live up to the original but wow it's just way better and I love it....safe blind buy in my opinion if you want to smell like a boss!
Once you compared it to Versace Pour Homme and Nautica Voyage, and said it lasts long for an aquatic I was sold. I love those two fragrances and if I can get them combined into one long lasting aquatic then its a must have for me. Thanks for the review!
Great, great fragrance. Summer vibes through and through. It's just a calming scent. It's one of only two fragrances I've experienced that is able to send me to a tropical place, the other one being Virgin Island Water by Creed. The salty note blends in so nicely with the aquatic, citrus, and floral notes within it. It's not "in-your-face" masculine, but it's a solid choice for a dude who wants a recognizably male scent. It's blind buy worthy, and a very safe bet as a gift for any guys in your life.
YOu sold me on this one.. so much so in fact that you made me re-evaluate the scent.. I had a decant of it and i wasn't that impressed for some reason.. I wore it and felt that it fell flat for me, that it would dry down fast into this like.. very basic barely present washed out aquatic like the dry down of blvglari aqua marine.. But i wore it today.. and i enjoyed it much more.. maybe i didn't give it enough of a chance.. it still dries down pretty fast on me.. my skin is weird.
So what's your take on it today? If it's not great then what is a great and well performing (for a freshie anyway, and not reformulated) scent for Warmer months (of 2019)?
Joy bhai...Need your suggestion. I'm a lover of freshies. What would u recommend more between Versace Man Eau Freshie and light blue intense (performance and price is not the criteria). I already have Bvlgari Acva Atlantique (which as u know, is an aquatic salty fragrance like Light blue intense).
Hello Joy! Love your videos and your honesty on the fragrance game. I bought this DG intense last year. I love it, I used it all year round. It did ok in cold climates but it does very well in spring and summer. What I've noticed is that most of my colognes last a long time on my skin and that's probably because of my ph or who knows?. Keep up your good vibe, Saludos amigo 🖐🏼🇲🇽
tbh on my skin as the name implies the intense version is more intense than the og light blue pour Homme which is significantly weaker, literally two sprays with the og is gone in a few minutes.
totally different IMO, DG is strickly marine salty aquatic, while Versace smells like a frozen bitter citrus. If want to try Eau Fraiche for cheap Azzaro Chrome Sport is basically 99% same frag and it costs around 15$ for 100ml on discounters.
Unfortunelty citrus notes doesn't last long. After that it quickly becomes salty plasicky-dusty smelling with a hint of ambroxan. Very similar to Aqva Atlantiqe with slightly worse longevity. I can see why people don't like it that much as opposed to hype on the RUclips that Light Blue Intense gets. You have to be a coneseur of that type of scents to really enjoy it, so it's definetly not for everyone. I quite like it, but I need to be in the right mood to pull the trigger. It's misleading to tell it's a universal mass-appealling frag. It is really not IMO. On the positive note Light Blue Intense is really cheap these day got myself 200ml bottle for 55$ brand new sealed box from discounter.
It is better than the original for sure. It's smoother original, without that harshness... more smooth and I like that but it's only like. Living Stromboli is best Light Blue period. i don't know if you tried it. It was a huge unknown up until recently and then it sold out in a heartbeat. Eau Intense isn't better than Aqva Marine, at least to me. I prefer both of these over Eau Intense. Do put your nose on Lining Stromboli and then say which one you think it's best.
@@simpa256 never smelled L’Homme libre, but from what you described it sounds appealing. I just ordered a decant off of fragrance net to be sure. I put one spray on the top of my palm today at Dillard’s for the original and it’s more spicy/peppery of a citrus fragrance. I liked how classic it smells, but that opening is kinda harsh because of that pepper. I’ve seen reviews where people say the eau intense is less pepper as well as less saltiness and more floral, but that overall there isn’t too much of a huge difference in scent. Performance and longevity everyone seems to say it’s solid. The OG for me performance wise awful of course as it didn’t project well after the first hour, but longevity wise even though it’s been a skin scent for majority of its time on my skin…I can still smell it after 10 hours.
For some reason this just doesn't resonate well with me, has a fishy / body odour smell to my nose, would not advise to blind by despite the hype by the youtubers
Watching this video in 2024 and I would like to congratulate you for being the genuine reviewer. Thanks Joy dada!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us on this one, Joy! Much appreciated!
I live in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. I will blind buy it as a gift for a great friend of mine
I trust your reviews 100%
It’s in my favorites summer fragrances. With Versace pour Homme and L’eau D’issey

Would you please share with us the best store in your country can be shipped ?
Thank you for the review. But if it smells like sea breeze, seaweed, salty and aquatic why would any one want to wear this when going the the beach?

Think I'll buy another bottle before it's reformulated.
Thanks for reviewing this gem. Will surely add this juice in my arsenal. 😊✌️
It reminds me of a mix of Versace pour Homme and Calvin Klein eternity aqua
This one is getting lots of traction..I will wear a sample. Yes!..the original had way too much pepper.
Abang Joy Amin the best ✋🏾

I also mentioned you in 1 of my videos that how moch i like your work . Thanks
Awesome 😍 Since you mentioned yesterday that you are going to review this one, I put my monthly haul on hold for a day to hear your take on it 😜👍🏼
How would u compare this with Bvlgari Acva Atlantique, which I have. Will it be worth buying this too?
Bro is this a better choice over any bvlgari aqua line??
joy bhai life mein tension nahi lene ka .. sab theek ho jaaega ! take care brother .. aur kuch bhi chahiye toh hum hai !
Keep your head up bro. I love your reviews.
Greetings from Manila, Philippines.
I was wondering whether to buy this or not but it's a bit expensive and I'll just go with three cheapies instead. Nautica voyage

@@mikecapalungan Like cold fresh water with citrus and some wood. Lhomme libre but not as sweet.
