    Great in depth video. Thank you. Just bought a used 2020. I really love it. The interior is beautiful, and so many things to learn. I'm 5"2 and for me, it's perfect. I have a Toyota tundra, so i feel a bit low. I'm sure I will get used to that. I love the sportiness of this vehicle. It's fun to drive. The info screen is so easy, too learn. I love that it is not a touch screen.

    Thank you for this great video. We have had our 2021 Mazda CX30 Preferred model for 8 months and are still learning its many great features. We find it an excellent, comfortable, easy to drive car. Highly recommended so far.

    Hey Mike, great video as always. Some information that I wanted to add about the car that you may have had a different experience with or maybe didn't notice. You can access the audio settings menu while you're listening to audio. You don't have to go through the entire menu system to get to it. When you're listening to music (either via radio or other source) you can get to the audio settings from there. Also, I've had a different experience with the parking brake. My parking brake automatically disengages whenever I put the car into drive or reverse and then I press on the gas pedal, but only if I have my seatbelt on. If my seatbelt isn't on, it won't automatically disengage.

    • @jeyan65
      @jeyan65 Год назад +1

      Yup . You need to have the seatbelts on for parking brake to disengage automatically. And the latest Cx30 cones with a cool auto hold button on the centre console that allows you to take your legs of brake pedal when you stop in traffic or traffic lights because parking brake engages automatically until you press the gas to drive away

    Just bought a 2020 CX-30 Premium AWD. I love it.. averaging @32mpg , I'm 6'1" 242 so I'm at the upper limit for comfortable driving although I do bump my head getting in.

    Honestly one of the best reviews in recent times. It should be very helpful to people considering this car. Keep up the good work.

    Lower mpg because it has the most power in its class Zoom Zoom. Definitely a learning curve using the dial and surrounding buttons but once familiar seems easy.

    About the ease of use of the knob based interaction system, I have been using a similar system in my 2018 Audi A3 for 2 years now, and I can say 2 things:
    It’s very nice to have full control of your menus without needing to tap the screen precisely on the right UI element, while concentrating on the road. The knobs sit right where your hand would rest while driving, so you don’t have to do much to do whatever you need to do on your screen.
    However, I would be lying if I said I never glance down at the thing while driving. There’s a lot of inputs and it’s impossible to remember the ones I don’t use as much, all the time.
    I’m looking forward to seeing whether this one is more or less user friendly after a couple of months of use. I’d say it’s much better than a touch screen anyways.
    great in depth review!!

    I really do think that the brown contrast makes it look quite premium, better than the blue version. I just wish Mazda used less scratchy plastic lower down but you can't complain given the value for money on offer.

    And I thought "Gone with the Wind" was long. Very windy over here too! 50 minutes but not one of them spent actually driving the vehicle - perhaps we'll get there in Part 15, if I haven't had to trade in my current car by then.

    cool tip, if key fob does not work anymore, you got a key inside, and unlock the car with the key, just lift the handle and theres a key hole inside.

    CX-30 is the perfect replacement for CX-3. I just can't see the purpose of a very small car, maybe because I'm quite tall but CX-3 and Mazda 2 seems to small to be comfy.

    Beware , it has flat battery problem which mazda can't find what symptom are they.

    • @stefanbanev
      @stefanbanev 3 года назад

      Well, for 2021 cx-30 it is not a battery issue it's a warning wording issue, if car stays unlocked for 30 minutes it warns that it is going into sleep mode to prevent battery gets flat. The warding of this warning is totally misleading, it warns that battery is going to die pls charge them, a totally misleading warning... As example (2021 CX-30 AWD/Select), I connected battery to charger, doors were unlocked and battery was 100% full in maintaining mode; after 30 minutes the car starts to warn about battery near death experience and shortly after it gets into sleep mode (shutdown all accessories, radio, light etc...). I guess it how Mazda addressed earlier reports about battery issue, they added this frightening warning message. It would be better to add an explicit control when car goes into sleep mode so people may vacuum/clean car without this 30 minutes limitations.

    Real cramped in back seat. Fine if you have no friends. And assembled in Mexico

    • @stefanbanev
      @stefanbanev 3 года назад

      Yes, it is, but not too bad if front seats are not too greedy, totally fine for x4 x 6-foots adults. It's definitely would be cramped for x4 taller persons...

    test drove this car and was utterly disappointed..... the audio system with bose was overhyped and sounded hollow and bland... too flat.... no character.... Also the 6 speed Transmission is not so OBSOLETE! and the engine is noisy AF when accelerating. Also the Steering wheel leather is thin and the wheel is meh feeling. Total overhyped vehicle
