I added a little humor to this video. My 16 year old daughter help me make the beginning. Making videos is extremely time consuming and if I'm not entertaining myself I won't make lab videos. I spent my Friday evening having a great time making my daughter laugh. She makes me laugh! Anyway, this little ortho/dental lesson is probably the most useful everyday piece of information I could pass on. This will make your appliances look absolutely fantastic. This is what I call taking your appliance to the next level. If you've never tried mineral oil on a dental appliance spend $10 and make sure you come back and thank me in the comments!!!! You can use a very light coat of mineral oil on Dentures, Partials, almost all orthodontic acrylic appliances including Invisalign, retainers, essix, nance, pendulums, nightguards, mouthguards, twin blocks, sagittals, Schwarz etc. click on my Amazon affiliate Link and purchase especially if you are a Amazon Prime member. We will receive a small commission from your overall purchase. So please by a Car, preferably a Lambo. lol

Great Lakes Orthodontics now sells actual clear acrylic, that you don’t have to add blue to. ps. Soak the model in hot water, dry then apply a Liquid foil separator, no more clouds.😀

After adding oil blow excess off with air gun then wipe with cotton towel. You don’t want any excess oil that the doctor can see or feel.

Applying two or three coats of a good separator to the plaster prior to acrylic lay-up should alleviate this problem.

Unfortunatelly it's a 5 minut solution... It's just an illusion for client/patient. After the first day in patient's mouth it's going to get matt again... :( I used to do that too, but it's worthless. :(
