Not a fan of two piece or spiral wrap spj rods, but thanks for the video. Right now my go to rod is Seafloor control JAM rod and Deepliner logical Prime 60.
I also prefer one piece but l do like the sprial wrapped rods, we're almost always fishing in a breeze so iits easy to get line wraps with conventional guides
tough question and more is to be revealled over the next two instalments! Haha to be honest I like having options and I have several SPJ rods and usually set 2 up, just like a jig choice it all depends on the conditions really.
@@TheBassRacer if it was one rod it would need to work in the most likely conditions so it'd probably be the L1 as its longer and better in tougher conditions, we get too much wind! If conditions were better more often then the P+ power 1 as its a bit lighter. Thankfully I dont need to be that restrictive though
If I could ask, I have a 1 piece jerk bait rod 6'6 designed for heavier fish like pike and lures up to 180 grammes, could this be used for slow jigging at a push?
Thank you for the informative video, I always wondered just how much difference there could be.
Some quality options there matt .Nice video
Thanks Robbo 👍

@@JOKERjigsandlures yes but if you had one rod, think ive the perfect all round SP set up now. The rod could be better on my slow pitch outfit
