What he said about synthesizers and samples is propably the most honest thing about modern music industry. They are nothing bad and a fine addition to other instruments like a trumpet to an orchestra or a Big Band and you can write music for them(Axel F and Popcorn are great examples), but the best thing is still a combination of both. Not for every style of music of course, but I think modern Pop music should have worked on that, rather then just sampling. With just samples and autotune the most fun part about music is lost: Making music by yourself and be able to play an instrument. The 'imperfectness' of the human playing is what makes music so charming. A lot of young people that want to make music don't know how that feels and are missing out on it. They look for money and fame, but the real reward so to achieve a level of playing so you can create music on your own. That is what we should focus on in the future, because it is what makes the difference between us and machines
Sorry to say that I’m not sure it really matters. He has found out what works for him, but his face is different to yours. You need to find out what works for YOU. You wouldn’t ask what size trainers Bolt wears so you can run as fast as him.
