Probably
@coldrunner Very true... He's a dangerous individual - not your average sovereign citizen idiot.
@@csh43166 Can't be a "true" SovCit ... He only knew the Introduction ...
😂😂😂
He's in my neck of the woods! The original video says his name is James Thompson.
"My friend told me he left 500000 dollars in small bills for me in that little drawer in front of the teller in this bank."
😂
He needs to remember, as Chris Rock said, if the cops have to come and get you, they’re bringing an ass kicking with them
Yup
Indeed...
👍
You hammered the nail on the head Mike. I'm all for cop watching and holding people accountable, but these men and women who risk their lives so we can go buy groceries and not get mugged deserve a heck of a lot more respect than they seem to be getting right now for crumby pay and a high risk job.
🙌
You are so right! Get rid of law officers, and the laws go unenforced. We will be back to the days of the old west. I am sure our fragile friends will enjoy that. The criminals will then not be oppressed, and will have whatever they want. From whomever they decide to take it from.
Yup
That's literally apart of their job. They completely signed up for it. They might not deserve it, just like no one deserves to deal with dumb customers. But that's the price of working with the public.
Not to mention all the unseen dangers the police face. This guy could of had anything on him. Gun/knife/screwdriver. I have no idea of this level of bravery. Full respect to the police.
"Jesus Christ says I don't have to have a license." I've read through the Bible. I'm not religious but that was never in any interpretation I've read.
Nope😂
Well, tbh, religious people do find tricksy ways of interpreting stuff that’s over 2000 years old, yet make it somehow apply to their modern life, so I guess the fact that Jesus never said in the Bible that you must have a licence to drive carts & oxen/horses/donkeys etc (or travel🙄), means he definitely thinks that no one should have to have a licence these days 🤔 And, since Jesus doesn’t say that people must have ownership papers for horses & carts etc, that must definitely mean that anyone now can take an unoccupied Jeep that just happens to be lying around in a car park. As long as they quote Jesus’ name of course 🤔🙄🤷♀️
Actually the Bible DOES say to obey the laws that aren’t against God RE: Government- “Give unto Cesar that which is Cesar’s & give unto to God that which is God’s”, when asked about paying taxes!
👍
@@lhmccracken Jip, He refers to the 5th commandment when he was talking about taxes and basically said that the 5 commandment (honour thy parents) also means that you should honour those in positions above you, like the government
It's scary that this guy is still on the lose... Given what they found at his residence, he's a very dangerous person. 😬
Well do share with the class unless it’s so bad it can’t be told here
"Jesus Christ says I don't need a license."
No, He didn't. Jesus did say not to steal and to obey those in authority over you. 0 for 3, dude.
Well he interprets religion like he interprets law😂
@@LawTalkWithMike Haha! True!
Thanks for pointing out how things can go down for officers Mike. I had a very similar situation where I pulled someone over for driving erratic and the guy took off on me after refusing to give me his license. He bailed out a few miles away. After we caught him (thinking it was just for a suspended license) we found out he had just killed his girlfriend and her father and he thought that’s why we stopped him. Luckily for everyone, he took off running and left the gun under the seat. We were also lucky that he didn’t just shoot at us as we walked up. Things go from zero to a hundred quickly.
Wow 😳 I bet you have relived that in your mind many times
People are quick to criticise, but totally underestimate what you guys deal with. As a Paramedic, I’m always grateful to have you guys looking after my back & happy to help you out whenever I can. And until you’ve worked Emergency Services or the military, people have no idea the things that we see & deal with so that ordinary people don’t have to. You don’t take on our careers as just a job, you’re born to do them. If people get into it by mistake, they usually figure out pretty fast that it isn’t for them. Not saying everyone’s perfect, there are undoubtedly people who shouldn’t be cops, Paramedics, Firefighters etc, but most of us genuinely want to help people. And when we do, that’s a really good day!
Hey Mr. Torres! Thanks for your service. My husband and I both veterans and post retirement, my husband worked corrections State of Florida. On active duty, he was the Officer in Charge of Navy Brig. Danger and zero respect for days doing a service to the community. Thank you again and God bless America 🇺🇸
Thank you and your fellow Officers
For your Service
Oh my gosh I'm so glad you guys were able to catch him
Openly admits sovcit and no license right at the start like the cop is gonna be like "Oh, my bad. I didn't know. Go on your way traveling"
Yup he was planning his next play
A local LEO came into my work last night and said "Hey Mat. How are you?" I let him know I dont answer questions. You just have to be firm with the police. Knowing 1/2 of your small town police force (on a friendly basis) allows you to have fun with them from time to time.
Yeah ,It’s like all that f them think if they said that they’re all good and can be on their way-lol
😂
Hes collecting a vehicle for his friend sounds like possibly commercial use so he’s not got his sovtard facts lined up
Ooof, the Three Percenter tattoo on the left hand adds a whole extra layer of squick to this.
I still never understood branding yourself a criminal 🤦♂️
@@LawTalkWithMike I always thought that too! A cholo told me that it’s a pride thing and said he wasn’t afraid of cops or jail.
I gotta correct you: the reason why a lot of defendants are sleepy in the courtroom is because as an inmate, you get woken up and taken out of your cell at like 3:00 AM on court dates, to start the long process of getting taken to the courthouse and then waiting in a packed holding cell.
IDK, anytime I get pulled over, I turn on the hazards and interior lights and shut off the motor. I also DON'T go searching for my paperwork UNTIL the Officer is at my window and can see what I'm doing. I also explain, like "my insurance is in the glove box, my drivers license in my purse.
Seems like common sense and common curtesy to me, but then, I'm not a criminal.
Yup 😂
Not that I get pulled over a lot but I do the same thing and often it results in a warning rather than a ticket
@@paulsmith5725it sounds like you are a reasonable, rational person , things that no sov/cit is. They are scary because they truly believe the garbage they spew
Ya know what makes a cop really change his attitude with you on a stop. Turn off the car remove the key and hold it visibly out the window so they can see. It really puts them at a lower level of anxiety because they know you won’t be pulling what this asshat just did
If anyone is curious. The runic inscription on the window sticker reads: "Not all who wander are lost" in the circle around the wayfinder symbol and "J" and "D" to the left and right of the tree symbol. The runes are elder futhark but with nazi style S-runes.
I wondered about that. It looks like the tattoo on his hand might be a 3 percenter symbol, or at least that’s what it looks like to me. Get the feeling this guy is a militia fringe type dude, which fits well with sovcit junk.
Yikes, peoplelike that guy terrify me. It's not just the lies, it's the obvious lack of care or concern of anything.
Yes
Thanks Mike for acknowledging how dangerous a Police Officer job can be.
mental health facilities need to take the damaged off the streets
cops have to be like the security guys in violeng mental facilities
Thank you for giving support to the police and an explanation to the Monday morning quarterbacks on the difficulty
👍
I did find it particularly hilarious to try to run from the cops when you're on an ISLAND.
I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not sure about this situation. When you flee from the scene of a traffic stop and attempting to steal cars... at the end of this, do you have MORE warrants or LESS warrants?
Well probably one more warrant for fleeing at the stop if they bother to get it because well they already have one. He will have additional charges brought against him when they find him. The real problem is he just elevated himself as a priority LE target.
Can the cops tell the difference between people who just say they’re sovereign citizens because they’re driving suspended - and the true believers? I can’t.
No but it doesn’t really matter it’s pointless bs either way
This dude's family tree is a broomstick ...........
When the Officer said "he has a warrant", you just know things are going to go bad.
And it did.
Something so easy to fix turns into something that can end up killing or causing a great deal of injury to others.
This Officer was nothing more than professional in his handling of this clown.
When I had court coming up, I couldn't sleep for days. It didn't matter what it was for. Lol
"Jesus Christ says I don't have to have a license." Now I'm no expert, but, he never had one either I'll bet.
It seems like in the beginning the Sov Cits were few in number and mostly benign but as there are more of them, we are starting to see some that are really scary, especially when they start mixing religion into it.
Yup
The "religion" they mix in is as much a lie as the rest of their stik. I responded to several on u-tube claiming auch religious powers from government. I listed my Bible verses and asked them for the verses they draw their conclusions from. Any response at all is a mess similar to what they do with laws and Supreme Court decisions. Usually there is no response. Jesus, Peter, Paul, and John all saw the government being established by God to promote a sense of direction for society and protection of the people. And for those who dare go against the government, Paul warned, "The government does not bear the sword for nothing". So, by Paul's warning, the guy in the video might want to quit while he is ahead.
His warrant is federal, the guy is wanted in connection with the attack on the Capitol. The officer should be thankful that he responded the way he did instead of something violent.
Wow 😳
Why would he be violent because of that. Jan 6 was nit violent. Blm is violent
@@Dman0001 Non-violent protests don't usually result in more than 140 law enforcement officers and an unknown, but sizeable, number of protesters being injured. Ass dismissed.

My favorite sovcit is the guy who went to a dealership and tried to buy a 40k car with a promissory note.
A simple traffic stop and this guy knows he has nothing left to lose, he knows he's as guilty as hell and doesn't care, he could've easily pulled out a hidden gun and fired on the officer. This is the sort of person we don't need in society, a danger to himself and others.
Exactly right about officers risking their lives to make the rest of us safe. I have a SWAT family member and I hate it, but we are a service family.

😂
He can lie and steal, because he believes in god.
Yup 🤦♂️🙄
I can’t begin to explain how it feels to go after someone like this, it is scary to be on foot looking.
Hell yes
@6:58 so, my only objection right now is to the officer. He knew he had a warrant, regardless of the GTA or not. Call for an additional backup unit. Take the additional second to see what type of warrant F or M. Play it safe. Now where is he? Roads and weather crap, for now the sole unit, and has to call out location and keep eyes.
Yup well the Marshals got him
Wow, he just made that whole entire situation so much worse by running. I truly can not believe the levels some people will go to in order to get away.
Right off the bat, the guy had 2, possibly 3, tell tale signs of lying. Irregular speech pattern, a stare with regular looks up to the right (trying to piece together the lies) and it looked like his pupils were dialated. Then he sped off........ This guy is definately creepy.
Yes 🙌
What made me nervous was the way the driver started moving forward in the cab as though he was trying to cover his reaching for a pistol.
Yup
Well that was different! Very different from the usual goofy sovcit antics. You're 100% right, really shows us why cops HAVE TO act the way they do... Excluding the actually bad cops of course.
He cements my case for “ third time refusal = taser, taser, taser”
😂
Might I suggest some bork bork nom nom k9 interaction followed by cavity searches for weapons.... or is that too much.... lol
Violent sovcit, for sure.
Just as soon as the chase starts RUclips inserts an ad...of course.
Yup
Spot on narrative, thank you Mike.
This bloke must
think the cop
was born yesterday!
I have had cops tell me their number one fear is a violent suspect out on foot! When you lose sight of a car you are chasing it is easy to reconnect with it. When you lose sight of that same subject in the woods the suspect has the upper hand on killing! I have been on calls where officers I know have searched large buildings for burglars and exited the building with attitudes I did not know they had.
This Sovy did one thing right. He drove it like he stole it.
😂
Lawyer : Your honour, I’d like to bring forward Mr Jesus Christ to the stand.
Mr Christ, did you or did you not give the right to drive without a license?
JC : Yes I did
Judge: Can’t argue with that! Case dismissed!
😂😂😂
Holy crap he just took off. He is totally fxxked
My teacher once said, "All red necks are sovereign citizens but not all sovereign citizens are red necks." (It may be the other way 'round." " To have a red neck and sovereign citizen mixed together you've either looked under too many rocks or have real estate (on which you pay taxes) inside a cave and drive a Nash Rambler. Really. she said that, really!!
This looks like a very scary situation for the cops. It feels like this creep is trying to lead them into an ambush. Hope they turned out okay.
Police earn every penny they make. They deal with jerks like this regularly. I support them whole heartedly.

There is no such thing as a "standard" stop. Every single one can go south - and become deadly - just that fast. Those "defund the cops" should spend ONE day in their shoes.
Back the blue, folks.
You are 100% correct! I did a ride along with several different officers. That is a real education that all these police gripers should experience. And after dark, holy crap!
Why in the world isn't it routine for every traffic -- EVERY -- TRAFFIC -- STOP -- to place those hand-held stopsticks in front and behind of one of the rear tires as the LEO approaches to speak with the driver?
lol at the "walking around like Minecraft or Halo" part
Seriously 😂
I got pulled over last weekend for speeding. Was I speeding? Probably; I have a lead foot. I pulled into a parking lot, rolled my window down, kept my hands visible, and greeted the officer with “I’m well; how are you today?” He explained why he pulled me over and asked for my license and insurance. I calmly explained my purse had been stolen, but that I had my temporary ID in my new purse; could I get it from the floor? Yes. Then I explained my insurance cards were available on my phone app. He got a radio call about a B&E. He bid me to drive safe, I bid him to stay safe and let him pull out first.
IT’S 👏🏼 NOT 👏🏼 HARD👏🏼.
Wow you weren't kidding.
When you walk into a situation like this the unexpected can be terrifying.
Prayers for the safety of the officer hunting someone who apparently has nothing to lose. We lost a young CHP motorcycle officer to a similar animal. 💙🇺🇸

Yea man... those poliosofficers gotta be vigilant
Yup 👍
First thing, because he didn't turn the key when asked, I was surprised the cop didn't draw his weapon. As scary as this shit is with the cop's arm in the door as crazy drives off, I called it really early.
Second, regardless of seeing everything coming a mile away, this video is insane!
Agreed
I disagree. Pulling out your gun there is a bad move. He didn’t escalate it enough just for failing to comply or even for the warrant (if it was for a serious crime like murder, the officer would have had back up and then it would be reasonable to pull your gun). It’s always easier for them to take a gun from you when it’s out of your holster.
Interesting I was really curious what the warrant was for but now that you mention it they would know.
To hell with this channel!!! Gotta get up in about 4 hours for work, and just can't stop ginge watching your videos!!!
Looks like I won't be sleeping much!
Funny that the guy cites Jesus Christ and then violates a whole bunch of commandments. Thou shalt not bear witness, thou shalt not steal …
This guy seems like he's been to prison before, so his got to know he's going to get caught. Why do this? Best case you get a worse charge. Worse case you get shot.
You should have your own TV show Mike .. call it - Hello ,Hello ,Hello .
It disturbs me to see the police working alone, so dangerous :( But in this case, if the police have had contact with him before, and there is a warrant, why wouldn't there be at least two cars? Sort of box him in from the beginning?
Gavin McInnes has fallen on hard times indeed.

OK that escalated quickly from talking about Jebus to almost killing a police officer with a motor vehicle
Yup
Speaking of cops up against things... if you have a minute, look up a police chase in the Birmingham, AL metro from several years ago. The suspect ran from Irondale in the far east part of the metro to Hoover in the south of the metro using interstates and surface roads, nearly ran over several cops, and then ran off the road in a dramatic fashion. He was thrown from his vehicle and when the cops approached him, one of them tee’d off and kicked him in the head. A beating ensued. He sued for police brutality. I don’t know how the case came out. I’d love to get your impression of the issue.
Well sounds to violent for a video on RUclips but interesting
You mean he is dangerous. Everyone is “potential” dangerous.
It is ever so satisfying to see a sovcit asked to follow real laws, instead of just making up his own. This sov was cool under pressure, but he will get tracked down and caught eventually.
Why in the hell is a single cop doing making a stop by himself on someone they know has a warrant? Is it like a death wish...something is not adding up in my opinion. This can’t be SOP..
That is a fair question
This is dumb. He was stealing cars, not murdering people. Police chases are far more dangerous than car theft. This guy was only scary because he was afraid of jail.
People need to get their priorities straight. Material possessions are less important than human lives. The main thing that puts cops in danger is because we ask them to do too much. This cop could have easily been ambushed and it definitely wouldn’t be worth it.
Yup back up would have been wise
next sovereign citizen the police stop should be told :
you are in our country.. you have to obey our laws regardless of where you come from or are not our citizen... all visitors.. immigrants.. visa holders must obey the laws of the nation in which they visit or reside ....

If the sov cit nonsense were true, don’t you imagine that there’d be scores of successful class action lawsuits from disgruntled drivers?
Great video Mike. Love the action

FWIW, don't know which came first, your experiences or the movie but the movie the usual suspects uses the same 'sleeping' line. At one point the detective Dave Cullion(sp) tells Verbal something like "You know how you tell a murder? You put 4 guys in a cell, the next morning whoever is sleeping is your guy. See if you're guilty you know you're caught and get some sleep..."

If you ever find out what happened
Please give us an update
Perhaps officers could carry copies of the driver's licensing regulations booklets that are given to prospective drivers to help them learn the regs and pass the licensing test. Then when a sovereign citizen starts spouting off, the officer could simply say, "You are wrong, here are the laws that apply. I will not discuss it further". Then the office could process quickly with the rest of the stop. If the citizen tries to argue, the officer can just refer him back to the book and continue on."
