Lived in San Francisco for 24 years traveled to Sacramento many times for business on interstate 80 all times of the year crossing the Bay Bridge , Franklin Avenue to Lombard to my home in the marina , the Golden Gate , Marin. Exactly how I remembered the Bay Area when we drove from Seattle. Man that was the best and worst( *cough cough Oregon *) drive of my life! Definitely can’t wait to drive to California again! Thanks for this video!

@@Relaxing.Scenes.Driving southern Oregon along I-5. Prepare to go through one of the most annoying twist and turn roads ever in the mountains. The amount of times I was getting car sick was insane! But once you get through then comes beautiful California state line. Overall the drive was the worth it, but man I suggest to use a BMW to handle those roads lol
After an extremely stressful past few days, this was the perfect way to relax. I loved the beautiful colors of the trees and the rhythm of the traffic. You always provide the perfect drive. Thank you. GOD bless

Never been to San Francisco, most of my northern Calif. experience is on the 5-frwy headed to Oregon. Mt. Shasta area is beautiful, thou. TY for the video.
A drive I've done 100 time or more. Never found it mesmerizing. Some days the drive was easier than others, most of the time it's slooow, slooow, slooow. I start wincing as soon as I hear a possible drive to SF is in the offing. Ugh.

Too bad Vista Point was closed off. That would've been a great place to end the video. Park, walk over to the edge and get great shots of the Golden Gate Bridge then pan left to get the city view, Alcatraz, Angel Island, etc.

I was driving Grant's pass for 8 hours once. Breath taking scenes. I live out past Gig Harbor now. Washington is home.
