A well crafted story and good acting, Present day radio is poor to much money on TV productions. I am 83 and got rid of Television some six years ago when my wife died. RUclips does a good service in bringing these old plays to life again.
agree with you. I am nearly 80, never had a television in my life, no car and no mobile phone - like the old radio plays - visual not important, scripts excellent, personalities vibrant, no swearing, no blashemy, no inuedos - just riviting plays with riviting characters
Excelllent play and I am pleased not to turn it off after the first 5, 10 minutes. It really stepped up the pace from then on. Regards and hello from México.
Thank you so much for these wonderful broadcasts.❤️

Please please a brief synopsis vs the bio data. Thank you for your posts however. Best ☮️
Good stuff, thank you Chesterton 👍
Synopsis: A London detective is notified that his 19 year old brother working on a fish trawler has been lost at sea. Under strict instructions from his superintendent to leave any investigating to the local police, he goes to collect his brother's possessions.
I’m totally absorbed, it’s making a crappy day much better.
Omg I want another episode!!!!
That's why I love these radio plays! They're so well done, as a rule. I'm very grateful to our provider for keeping them coming!
@bob brookman I'm sorry if I gave too much of the story away and ruined it for you. I really am. I'll adjust it. I'm not a professional. I just do this as a kindness. I'm still learning. I appreciate any suggestions, but profanity isn't necessary.
@@tottiemae2258 he didn’t need to speak to you like that, it’s uncalled for. You made a genuine mistake 🥰
Very enjoyable!
Excellent really enjoyed. Thank you.
Violent Shore Terrific drama A cracking 👍good storey.
A great find. Thank you!
An excellent crime drama, I enjoyed it thoroughly. 🥀😍
A great play; I love these sea-related mysteries. A good cast. I didn't know many names, but I knew a few, including the wonderfully-named Trader Faulkner. I looked him up, and at the time of writing, he's still alive aged 93.
Passed 2021 aged 93.
If you've not heard the BBC play of Jack London's Sea Wolf starring Jack Klaff as Wolf Larsen you should check it out.
Thank you for uploading.
1975.
With Eric Lander as Mike Fenner,
Eva Haddon as Betty McKay

Mystery theater
Those baddies certainly knew how to draw attention to themselves, not a lot of sympathy for young David
Sometimes they speak very fast with thick accent , hard to decipher, otherwise a good play .
