An all time summer fragrance for me!
Oh how cool!!
If you rub your fingers along a geranium leaf, it smells like slightly metallic, green and lemony mint! 😁 There are some geranium varieties whose flowers don't have an odour either, but depending on whether they include the leaves during harvesting or clip them separately (usually in the morning), the scent profile of the steam distilled oil will vary. But I believe that most of it is contained in the little hairs on the leaves if I'm not mistaken? Very velvety to the touch. A wonderfully traditional material in many masculine perfumes. 💚

I've always found geranium minty. If I touch geranium leaves though those little hairs bring me out in hives!

Geranium, cinnamon, clove, sandalwood, and styrax come out more in the dry down for me
