Even this is old tutorial, it is amazing! I have been thinking, how i do a braid or something else to my hair. My hair have been growing a quite long. Now i do not want to shorting them. This was so great tutorial, maybe i can to do it to my self. Thank you very much!!
Thanks for the tutorial - it ended up being a lot easier than I thought. Can't wait to wear it out - would love more hairstyles like this! Great tutorials as always.
I did this on my daughter who has long thick black hair (just imagine Indian hair) and it looked so cute so dont shy away if your hair is opposite or thick it looks great on my daughter she was very happy :)..Ps this was also very easy.
This is an amazing tutorial! Very easy to follow. I just can't seem to get it work with my hair. I've tried all afternoon! So I'll give it a rest and try again tomorrow. ALL of your videos are fabulous!!!
Oh I loved this hairstyle!!! If I were only 20 years younger and more hair I would so do this hairstyle!! Boo to old age and thinning whimsy hair!! Lol l look forward to more of your videos!!
Look into adding braid hair to your own as you go or get extensions put in. Thinning hair is no reason at all not to wear your hair they way you want. There are always alternatives to help.
Thanks for the video! I am wearing one starting more at the crown of my head for work and have gotten lots of compliments. Your tutorials are great and so easy to follow :)
i've seen another instruction where you split the new part first and take it around the previous tail and then put the elastic on.. seems much easier then first putting the elastic on first, especially it doing it on yourself.
I love your videos! :) But I wish you do something with curly hair (really curly hair, not wavy). Mine is curly, and would love to see some new hairstyles for my type of hair. Anyways, thanks for your tutorials and sorry for my bad english.
I wished you would have shown how you did the pull out part so clean...... It cut straight to the finished product. I guess it's more difficult if you have layers??
I just started following you on Instagram, your amazing! I'm going to try this and the topsy tail faux Mohawk! Beautiful :) can't wait to try it. I'm going to post it on insta! Thanks
I have another channel too, link is above. Its really key to set your curls. Use a mouse or gel to blow dry in for hold and texture…then curl you hair with a 1 to a 1/14 iron, curl the hair and clip with a pin curl clip to allow it to set until its cool. That will make a huge difference! Hope that helps. x
LOVE this style! I'm definitely going to have to try it. For someone with bangs, though, do you have any tips to make the top work better? My bangs are just below my brows, so a little bit on the shorter side, but my awful cowlick makes working with them more difficult. Any tips for this hair style--or any other, would be great! Thanks! :)
Thanks! Great vid! I really appreciate how thorough she was. And I swear, I'm not trying to be a jerk in asking this, but what does "editorial" mean in terms of hair styling? I Googled it and couldn't find anything. Is this a new fashion slang?
My hair is so fine, I have never in my life had anyone to braid my hair or curl it where it actually stayed. I got told my hair is to healthy. But this is very aggervating cause I want the big thick look. I love doing this pull through braid but it always is lacking. What can I do? Please help!
I just really want you or someone that is great with hair to look at my hair, face shape, and general style and tell me what will look good. I have been through so many styles (shaved, spiked, layered, mohawks, fauxhawks, ponytails, buns, duck tails, "emo" side sweeps, straight across bangs, and everything in between) and I have never been able to find something that I am satisfied with. I have really thick hair that is sometimes curly and other times straight and over all impossible to maintain. I cant wait to try this braid out! Though I do have a feeling it wont look very good on me. Any suggestions are welcome!
I tried this. All I got were sore arms, lots of tears from trying to take it out, and a hair full of knots (which I now have to go to the salon to get out of my hair). Thanks.
How do I send you pictures through here there's a killer Mohawk hair style that I know you will rock on the tutorial its a faux Mohawk with teased bubble ponytail style
You'll have some issues when you start to pancake the braid. The layers will start falling out in weird places. You can always tuck them behind the braid and secure it with Bobby pins.
Hello there i will love to know where are you located becase i have a long thick hair and is always down because i have no idea how to deal with it i can do all kinds of stuff on other ppls hair but not in my own can you please help?
Oooh im in conneticut, but if ever go there ill definitely contact you just to have something done by you. Im like you super biggest fan... love your work. Your are amazing...
I've got a question that no one ever seems to be able to answer. I'm allergic to the propellant in aerosol cans, which means I can't use any aerosol cans for anything. Do you know of any good texturing sprays or hairsprays or dry shampoos that use a pump spray?
She got cocky and carried away because now it looks like shit.. It's not editorial nor avant garde because we've seen this style before. She didn't place care into the finishing..
Lmao I thought it was soo cute in the beginning and then she did that extra stuff at the end which made me laugh my ass off cuz it look like the poor girl got in a hair fight.
Avant garde or, got into a drunken bar fight and woke up the next morning with the worst hangover of my life, look? If the latter was what you're going for you nailed it girl. 🤦🏼♀️🤪😬
Don't try (and fail) at the 'avant garde' thing coz that really didn't work. Poor girl looked like she'd been attacked by a ferret. Malibu demonstrates a MUCH easier and neater way of doing this style
They didn't show the most important part! It would have been helpful to see the "pancake" technique to take that pull through braid from completely flat to the amazing finished product. :\ Love the style! but disappointed by the editing of the video.
Why don't u take all her hair tho 🤔& also this could be MUCH easier by just doing tiny pinys like u did but then instead of all that pulling threw a lot if ppl it's hard to do 🤔just split the top pinys all the way going down each time & add another elastic , much more easier for people , just saying is all , u could do it that way & show ppl that way TOO 🤷♀️🤔
It looked great up to 5:53. Pulling a bit to puff it up, hide the elastics and make it look relaxed is one thing. But yanking clumps of hair willy-nilly and setting them with high hold spray…. It just looks like it’s been slept in after a hard night of partying and you couldn’t be bothered to tidy it up for work the next morning….
Even this is old tutorial, it is amazing! I have been thinking, how i do a braid or something else to my hair. My hair have been growing a quite long. Now i do not want to shorting them. This was so great tutorial, maybe i can to do it to my self. Thank you very much!!
OH MY GOD JENNY! I am OBSESSED with this. Doing it this Thursday while we go out on the town!! LOVE IT.
Awesome! Cant wait to see it!
Why would you not show the pulling out section of the tutorial?
Favourite hair channel, you make it look so easy and the looks are fresh and I've never seen before! Well done!
You are soo sweet! I definitely try to be different! x
I suck at hair stuff but I am living for this and I will master it if it is the last thing I do!!
Thanks for the tutorial - it ended up being a lot easier than I thought. Can't wait to wear it out - would love more hairstyles like this! Great tutorials as always.
Im all about hairstyles that look complicated but are easy to achieve.
You are like the queen of hairstyles and your videos helped me so much!!!! I wish I could see you in person!!!!!!!!!!
I did this on my daughter who has long thick black hair (just imagine Indian hair) and it looked so cute so dont shy away if your hair is opposite or thick it looks great on my daughter she was very happy :)..Ps this was also very easy.
Nicole, that is so awesome to hear! Thanks so much for the feedback. I'm glad it worked out beautifully for you! xo
Nice encouragement for people with thick hair(like me,and also black). Now I'm definitely trying this out!
Awesome let me know how it turned out
This is an amazing tutorial! Very easy to follow. I just can't seem to get it work with my hair. I've tried all afternoon! So I'll give it a rest and try again tomorrow. ALL of your videos are fabulous!!!

Omg that's so creative and awesome!!! Love it!
Thank you so so much!!
Thanks for the video! I am wearing one starting more at the crown of my head for work and have gotten lots of compliments. Your tutorials are great and so easy to follow :)
Sara R Yes!! Thats what I go for! So happy and thanks for sharing. Made my day!
Very nice hairstyle Jenny!
Thanks Ulrika! I appreciate it! xo
i've seen another instruction where you split the new part first and take it around the previous tail and then put the elastic on.. seems much easier then first putting the elastic on first, especially it doing it on yourself.
Attending a rock concert tomorrow and needed my hair out of my face, with something less boring than a ponytail or a braid, so this is perfect for it.
the undoing dat hairstyle is gonna huuuuurrrttt!!! i'd love tto see her undo dat on a video.. :')
Definitely gonna try this!
awesome! Let me know how it works for you! xo
tried it out on myself, didn't come out exactly how you did it, but it looked awesome with my different colored hair!!
Gorgeous!! You are a genius!!! Have to try this soon. Love your channel^_^
new subscriber here! loooove your videos! Sending you lots of love from Brazil
Wonderful !looks fab! love ur hat!
Have fine (very fine!) shoulder length hair, is there anyway that would suit me better, also are there any substitutes for the 'spray clay'
You are freaking AWESOME!!!! Please come to San Francisco!

I love your videos! :) But I wish you do something with curly hair (really curly hair, not wavy). Mine is curly, and would love to see some new hairstyles for my type of hair. Anyways, thanks for your tutorials and sorry for my bad english.
Stephanie Ill work on it girl friend! Thanks for the feedback.
Can't wait to try this out!
Hello jenny i love your hairs style you do .. but can you please do more toddlers hair style
Hey Ladyblade, I won't do too many on this channel but I can certainly do one on my other channel. Link to my other channel is above. x
***** okay thanks jenny 😄😊 looking forward to the new toddler video.. cant wait
first pony at start is so frustrating for people with bangs but love it!
Awesome video!
I wished you would have shown how you did the pull out part so clean...... It cut straight to the finished product. I guess it's more difficult if you have layers??
+Tawny Figueroa I would suggest adding a little bit of bend to your hair prior to styling. It will help the layers flow with the braid.
the
So if I have curly hair should I straighten it first? Or do you think the curl would simply add to the body of it with some curly-q fly-aways?
I think you should keep it curly. The curl will give it a different look. It won't be as defined but I think it will be awesome!
What was the stuff you sprayed on her hair at the beginning for fine textured hair, just hairspray?
Thank you so much for sharing! Love it
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! x
Im gonna try this, so cute!
Awesome! Can't wait to see it!
I just started following you on Instagram, your amazing! I'm going to try this and the topsy tail faux Mohawk! Beautiful :) can't wait to try it. I'm going to post it on insta! Thanks
dominique windrim How did it turn out?
Before she did that weird stuff at the end it was really cute
Agreed. The second to last looked really good, but the final one was too messy.
HAHAHA I was about to say that xD
Sierra Lee agree. I thought it was cute before she yanked all that hair out. 😂😂
Por q la despeino 😢😦😦
Agreed
Amazing, love it!
Thank you so so much!
Love this!!
My hair is so fine how can I get curls to stay they drop out after half an hour, love ur channel btw! Xx
I have another channel too, link is above. Its really key to set your curls. wow so nice thanks 4 sharing

Melanie Mitchell Id say swoop them or pin them back into a little pouf and start your pull through sections behind those ones.
love this super edgy rock chick look, and so easy to do on yourself if you struggle with braids.
Charlene Parchment Thanks so much!
Thanks! Great vid! I really appreciate how thorough she was. And I swear, I'm not trying to be a jerk in asking this, but what does "editorial" mean in terms of hair styling? I Googled it and couldn't find anything. Is this a new fashion slang?
To make something "Editorial" would be to amp up the whole thing to make it suitable for a high fashion catwalk, magazine, or photography.
Ah, okay, so it is a fashion world-oriented slang term. That makes sense. Thank you for the clarification!
Jenn D It is not slang but it is a proper term in high fashion, and advertising circles.
Right. Slang: the jargon of a particular class, profession, etc. Got it.
love this thank you!
DOPE! I LOVE IT!
Love it! Thanks for sharing!

Try a pixie, you have a cute face show it off girl. However it'll make you look much younger so consider that.
if you take a shot everytime she said simply you'd be drunk in 6 min
Allison Sutherland I took a shot each time she said simply and go ahead. I'm soooo wasted now ;) :D
Ha!
I tried this. All I got were sore arms, lots of tears from trying to take it out, and a hair full of knots (which I now have to go to the salon to get out of my hair). Thanks.
Bc. Elizabeth Watson is ohhhhhuuhf jtesf d . Mo$ bhxh
NBC bahhhh

will i be able to do this with my hair layered? because i have layers
You'll have some issues when you start to pancake the braid. The layers will start falling out in weird places. You can always tuck them behind the braid and secure it with Bobby pins.
how long does your hair have to be
Hello there i will love to know where are you located becase i have a long thick hair and is always down because i have no idea how to deal with it i can do all kinds of stuff on other ppls hair but not in my own can you please help?
Sulenny Palaguachi Im in Scottsdale, AZ. Where are you at?
Oooh im in conneticut, but if ever go there ill definitely contact you just to have something done by you. Im like you super biggest fan... love your work. Your are amazing...
you are amazing!!!!!!
You are so so sweet!! xo
Oh my god!!!! Whyyyyyyyyy???? It was so Nice !!!! 😳
this tutorial was more like a game of "how many times can I say simply"
I've got a question that no one ever seems to be able to answer. I'm allergic to the propellant in aerosol cans, which means I can't use any aerosol cans for anything. Do you know of any good texturing sprays or hairsprays or dry shampoos that use a pump spray?
+pippylunalove search for LUSH sea spray!
Schwarzkopf has a texturing dust called Dust It which is available in salons, it works way better than any texturing spray or dry shampoo.
I make my own dry shampoo and I have curly hair
That is 1990 _as seen on tv_ *Topsy Tail* without the loopy tool
She got cocky and carried away because now it looks like shit.. It's not editorial nor avant garde because we've seen this style before. She didn't place care into the finishing..
+Jamie Todd lol
+Jamie Todd I agree, it looks awful...
Can i still do this if i have bangs??
+Elahe Bahmani Absolutely!
Why not just leave the bangs out 🤔🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
creo que me dara el mismo resultado si me lo hago y luego me duermo
Yeah it's hard for curly hair but I'm doing it without product
Has anyone tried this on frizzy, curly hair?? I've been wanting to try this on my hair but I don't want a frizzy mess... :(
Lmao I thought it was soo cute in the beginning and then she did that extra stuff at the end which made me laugh my ass off cuz it look like the poor girl got in a hair fight.
She looks like she got into a fight and mess her hair up hahahaha, still cute tho
bsb cerejinha Totally but its so fun!
Simply this, simply that. Favourite word, Huh 😂
LOL she went crazy at the end. It looks like my baby got a hold of her hair and yanked it. It went from awesome to hideous in seconds.
Sorry, pero ya estaba bien! Y la termino desgreñada:(
That moment you watch hair tutorials to have better reference for drawing purposes :L
Super cute styles, but man that looks like it hurts. ouch
ikr
Hurts 🤔🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️😅🤔🤔🤔
awsome
Simply
The end is like, she recreated Elsa lol.
Andra Maria Totally!!
Love these videos but I have short hair, where's the love for hair that clears the shoulders? :(
Shelbi Varnell I know girlfriend! Those videos never ever do well! Did you see my short hair flat iron waves video?
Really creative! I like it, but I don't think I would wear it. Doesn't really suit me.
Its certainly not for everyone. ;) Thanks for the feedback. Have a great day! x
What in the hell did she mess it up for?
Are you two sisters!? Lol. You look a lot alike
I loved it before you fluffed it at the end. That last touch was too much
todo iba tan bien hasta que la desgreño jajaja
👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks!! I think so too!
Wow she looks alot like the girl from "Frozen"
Theloveshere Totally!
It looked nice until you messed it up. But I love the styles and goose job explaining
WOW
Avant garde or, got into a drunken bar fight and woke up the next morning with the worst hangover of my life, look? If the latter was what you're going for you nailed it girl. 🤦🏼♀️🤪😬

The style looked good and then she ruined it by being careless. Looks like birds had a fight on top of her head.
They didn't show the most important part! It would have been helpful to see the "pancake" technique to take that pull through braid from completely flat to the amazing finished product. :\ Love the style! but disappointed by the editing of the video.
✨
biutiful
♥
French pull threw braid SAM VILLA . He did it first and he did WAYYYYY EASIER.
she ruined it.. it was perfect with just a braid..
i got a headache from here from that hairspray
It's not hair spray it's texturizing stuff to make her hair thicker & more fluffy & no she didn't even use a lot of a little just enough 🤦♀️
you totally skipped sections on this...
Honey please my hair is so thick. You can't do this by yourself you have to have someone to help you otherwise it just looks like garbage
What an absolute Mess!!
Why don't u take all her hair tho 🤔& also this could be MUCH easier by just doing tiny pinys like u did but then instead of all that pulling threw a lot if ppl it's hard to do 🤔just split the top pinys all the way going down each time & add another elastic , much more easier for people , just saying is all , u could do it that way & show ppl that way TOO 🤷♀️🤔
Too bad you tried to make it look edgy, it looked amazing until you make it messy.
It's supposed to look like the messy look that's the point lol 🤔🤦♀️😅😅🤣
@@michellelablue7 there is casual relaxed “messy” and there is “I gave up” messy. This was the latter.
The models trying not to laugh. She looked stupid at the end 😆
It would be nice if you actually showed all the steps and not skip to the finished style.
She did not 🤦♀️🤔
i dot lik it boom
it is 0
