Already have a xiaomi as my daily phone and its rocks. 2 years later battery performs well and their software support has been great. I looked up the specs and its supports most of my carrier bands here in NA. I've been wanting a foldable phone for a while and i'll wait until this becomes available.
If you don't mind clarifying, so you can get service with your Xiaomi cell phone and the NA. The service I use is a verizon network. So I'm scared to pull the trigger and buy a Xiaomi phone
They will never do, first SD cards are too slow for flagships and the customer will always blame the company for the slowness, second and most importantly is profit
@cokelatgadget2411Who cares if they're slow? Id rather take a 1tb microsd card to shoot 4k video on than not have one at all lol. If it's too slow for you, don't use it. There is literally no reason to remove it, no benefit to the customer to it being removed (unless you are a shareholder)
I'm an old android user and even i don't care they have removed the mirco SD card slot. you don't need it anymore 256Gb and 512gb and even 1tb of internal storage is more than enough space. I don't know why people complain all you have to do is use ether a data cable to transfer music pictures and videos or use a usb dongle with a micro sd slot to transfer files. Micro sd cards should only be used for pc gaming consoles and digital cameras!
It's true that (in my opinion), the external screen of the Galaxy Fold is still missing 2-3mm of width, and especially 400-500mAh of battery 🔋 capacity, but on the other hand (apart from Huawei/Honor), the size (thickness) of the competitors' photo blocks is really too imposing, almost as thick as the smartphone itself 🤷🏽♂️
I still don't get how they don't go global with these phones. I picked a Mix Fold 3, rooted it and put a different ROM to use it in the US and it was perfect except for getting cell service everywhere. Guess we're still stuck with Samsung :\
I am using Mix Fold 3. i love the cameras and the phone. You can install play store and everything just with Chinese stock Rom, why you put a different ROM, just curious.
@@honantong I put Elite Rom on it to get Android Auto, sync with my galaxy watch, just get rid of all the other chinese stuff on the phone. The battery life also was insane with the ROM. I'm on the S24 Ultra right now, but I still have the Mix Fold 3 as a spare and I'm debating on going back to it
I love this one, but I went with the Honor Magic v3 instead because its thinner, a bit wider and shorter front screen (more 1 handable for me), and has a great stylus that works on the inner and outer screens.
There spec are always great...I can't believe they made inner display smaller... I had my hands on the Xiamoi Mix fold3 and it was just awesome as far as hardware specs go.. but the UI is where it fell short... Samsung still has the best UI for multitasking etc...
Yeah. They also have same price. V3 probably has better screens and battery. Also telelense seem higher pixels. However I am getting a Xiaomi Fold 4 to update my Xiaomi Fold 3 because I love the image style from Xiaomi more than Honor.
Samsung have the capacity to make great foldable phones like this but it seem at the moment they are paying more attention to profits and banking on the fact that they still have the best software.
If I ever understand the purpose and functionality of a curved screen and foldable phones rather than being a struggle to use, I promise myself I will get one of each. I think I am too stupid to understand fold and curve logic on the phones.
xiaomi were known to be a budget brand while sub-brand redmi is the ultra budget offering. Having it price at beyond 1k usd may detract potential buyer. People relate the brand with what their worth. This is why we never seen cheap apple products. Why toyota create lexus, honda create acura and nissan create infinity.
Xiaomi has had flagships for ages and are not in the US so it doesn't matter what they'd price it as. They don't have to price it half as much. People buy phones from their entire range where they available.
Samsung can by happy that Chinese Brands do not release foltable mobile Globally. Samsung would have a big problém and minimal sales. I look forward to Chinese Brands when they go globally.
I am rocking the mix fold 3... awesome phone but buggy os however i am quite disappointed the mix fold 4 ha smaller inner display buy 2 inchs.... not happy.... looks like vivo will prob be the only on with a 8inch screens...
Reviewers think they know everything but in reality they just say stuff they like to say. You need to wait for the confirmation from Xiaomi regarding the global availability.
But why do they keep copying Samsung? They were on their own path with their triple fold outside display which if they brought that to America I would snatch that up in a second there wouldn't have been any question Samsung who that would have been the question. But I have no idea why these people keep copying Samsung they don't have the best designs they did at one point but I have a Galaxy s24 ultra and I don't even have a back panel display so that I don't have to open my phone up every time to check my messages or see what time it is but they have it on the z fold so why is it not on their flagship top of the line device? Xiaomi should have just went their own way like they were already doing
Tried both. Same price. Honor usually has good battery, screens. Same as Honor Magic V3 vs Xiaomi Fold 4. Also V3 has better camera parameters, especially for telelense. However, Xiaomi has better image style (with Leica). I like the photos and videos from Xiaomi more. If you are not particularly after the Leica style, Vivo X Fold 3 is a better deal.
No xiaomi for me anymore. I get adds when i use its apps to open documents, pdf files etc. Super super annoying. So i will switch back to samsung probably the ultra or fold
Even if this and all the other much better foldables were available globally, Samsung know that, like Apple, they've managed to brainwash enough people to buy their phones no matter how bad they are. Software isn't everything, but apparently it still sells phones. That's why they've stopped bothering to innovate.

what a disapointment that it’s not launching in europe 😢

Dear phone makers, please bring micro SD back to your flagship phones.
They will never do, first SD cards are too slow for flagships and the customer will always blame the company for the slowness, second and most importantly is profit
There's only one flagship smartphone that does that now. And even then, it's understated feature.
