Remember it wasn’t just Roblox games that were taken down but several fan games on other sites and platforms.
Toho likely took down a lot of the fan games because they are working on their own.
We know that a Godzilla game from Toho has been in development for at least 2 years now and Toho themselves said that their mobile game division was to test run interest in the I.P. With all profits made going to the funding of their next console game(They’ve also directly stated on their app, Godzilla plus that profits from their mobile games directly aided the funding of Godzilla: Minus one).
Universal did something similar last year, they took down a ton of popular and well known Jurassic Park/World fangames only to announce Jurassic Park Survive only a few months later.
Sony did something the same thing several years ago as well, shutting down popular fan games and projects about Ghostbusters, then announced the Ghostbusters game for ps4 a few months later

To be honest Toho has Godzilla Battle Line on the run for a while and It gets new updates every month,i play It and It's really good onestly,so i can't say shit on this topic

Maybe they were looking for a good time to release it, and since the game is taken down with a complete overhaul, it seems that the time to take action on the map is now.
I really hope the ku dev team does something every month where the community can each create their own kaiju than if it gets enough votes the devs will add it to the game, a way for the community to be more involved with the game.

if KU does have to get a licence then =i feel it wouldn't be that expensive, sure to get a hold on the ip of Gdzilla and the charcater himself would be a costly but i doubt getting the other monsters would be that hard IDW bought thae rights for pretty much every Godzilla monster encluding heavy hitter like mothra king ghidorah and mecha G and even kaiju like sanda and gaira and it just for one comic series where most of them didn't even do that much. And yeah IDw is a big company but i doubt it would be that hard for KU whne they not putting them in any movie or anything so characters won't be full price, probobly cheaper then what IDW payed since it's for a roblox game

you are wrong, they dont need to pay millions for licenses that is only for creative licences they dont need creative licences cuz they just need to basically get validation to use a character
Legendary paid millions to get the rights to just simply use Rodan, Mothra, and Ghidorah alone.

They knew better than to use someones IP without getting the rights. they knew what would happen and pretty much stole everyone's money spent on that.
Even worse as well is that even if they do get the license they will need another license for EVERY new Kaiju they want to add. And don’t get me started on kaijus from other universes…

I don’t think so, but Frostbite Godzilla is probably the easiest Godzilla for KU to bring back since it was their original spin on it (although Toho could make an excuse that the idea came from Shinkalion’s Snow Godzilla).
