What an awesome informative interview! I have been doing Hypropressives for about 6 months. I went from 138lbs to 117lbs. Sooo excited to see my transformation. Had a hysterectomy in 2002 and a bladder lift ..it was dragging down the sidewalk😝. Over the years and menopause my bladder decided it was time to skip on the sidewalk, but this time I took it into my hands and started doing these exercises. WOW! They absolutely work! And my cookie is no longer crumbling 😅. Also after being married for 32 years our sex life is better than ever! Ty ladies for your educated time❣️💋
Did you have a teacher in person who specializes in hypopressives? I'm wondering if it's possible to learn on your own - at home... I sure wish I had someone in person who is passionate about teaching people like me.
I just started training with an LPF coach to improve my core and pelvic health. I am also a bodybuilder and so is my LPF coach. This video was so amazing. I feel so much more knowledgeable about the training I am doing which is opposite from the pelvic floor training I had been doing that focused more on diaphragmatic breathing and pelvic lengthening. Thank you for sharing this knowledge.
This is so wonderful! I've been interested in this for helping with my prolapse and have learned TONS of helpful information through this. Thanks to both of you:) (I'm currently in Kim's BuffMuff program which has been terrific as I work my through it!)
Thank you, Kim and Becky! FINALLY, I think I've found what I've been looking for! This session was very informative. Kim, do you know of anyone in the Hamilton area who teaches Hypopressives and or Low Pressure Fitness? I'm very interested in learning more and incorporating these techniques into my life.
Thank you so much Kim and Becky. That was amazing. I learned so much from listening to this conversation between the two of you - as both a pelvic floor owner and health practitioner. I came to this wanting to learn more about pelvic floor health, but I can see so many other benefits to learning and practicing this technique for both men and women. Pelvic floor, bladder, posture, gut-brain health, vagus nerve/stress management, pain management and so much more. Becky, can you recommend anyone in Australia for referrals?
I am excited to learn more about this technique and wondering if it may help relieve my abdomino-phrenic dyssynergia. I would love a referral to a pelvic floor PT around Portland, OR as I have been suffering for over 6 years. Thanks in advance! Excellent video.
I'm curious how this would work for someone who's had a radical cystectomy (full removal of the bladder) with creation of an orthotopic neobladder. I'm sure these techniques would be beneficial for general strengthening, and for me specifically in dealing with previous prolapse issues...but curious about the added complexity of recovering from RC surgery which, I'm guessing, removes some of the nerve routes to the bladder she's talking about here? Do you think it would help address hyper-continence if one doesn't have a natural bladder?

amazing!!
Most clients are super tight in their rib cage so how can you get the apnea if they aren’t very body aware.
Thanks!

there could still be benefit for you!
Can a stage 3 uterine/bladder prolapse respond to hypopressives and be symptom free eventually?
yes it is possible to improve it and possibly reverse your symptoms. Hypopressives and buff muff exercises and pelvic floor physical therapy
Do you teach men too and what issues can it assist?
I personally don't work with men but yes men can do this too....great for posture and digestion and fascia.
