    In this Rhino Grasshopper stair tutorial we have used a freeform Stair designed by Wafai Architecture (Website: www.wafai.me
    . Related Picture : instagram.com/p/BxSFokkJS62)
    )
    .
    We will use a simple loft surface to model a series of parametric stairs. First we will model the base curves in Rhino and use the loft command in Grasshopper to make the surface. Then we will use the "Contour" command to make the stairs curves and use an offset component combined with extrusion to finish the model.

    could you create the initial curve in grasshopper as well? and be able to adjust the control points?

    Mr Why I plan to give the edge a color, but I change the colour swatch but nothing happens

    Idk if you’ll see this but I’m wondering if you know how to change it so the stairs go down in the x direction?

      I tried just changing the z plane to a x plane on both z options but I think when you offset it it messes with it

    Hi, for some reasons that my contours are not equally divided between the two reference curves, are there any ways to make them all the same measurement with whatever the distance between two reference curves? Thanks

      Try making a linear array of planes and use brep/plane in the intersection. Maybe this helps

    Why are my stairs different if I follow these instructions? My stair steps are curving in the opposite direction (90 degrees turned)

      I guess you have to flip your curve. You can do this either in Rhino or Grasshopper

    How can I transfer this file to sketch up?

      I think you can bake the Rhino file and export as SKP
