I started recently at my local gym and I’m sure I look like a deer caught in the headlights of a passing car. Your video really helps me understand what I am being taught in class, and after training I can go home and watch what I learned and attempted to utilize that day over and over again until I memorize it. This is an excellent instructional video. Thank you for your time and effort in making this video with quality information and instruction available for people like me.
Thanks for watching! Find a good gym with some friendly training partners and you'll learn the fundamentals. Jiu jitsu is not easy, but it is definitely worth the investment
Fundamentals. But you feel clumsy and it's easy to forget everything you just saw demonstrated. 😂 I would even study the move before class. See the demo and go blank when it came time to do it. I think this is not unusual. Persistent showing up and repetitions is important. Understand you're going to be a clutz. Be willing to start from there. It's probably going to be a long time before you're good. Keep after it. Keep it fun. Drill with safe partners who won't hurt you. There's absolutely no need to hurt someone.
I have the same problem, I joined a gym that teaches Judo, Sambo and Wrestling and decided to learn BJJ by watching videos on RUclips. This video is a good start.

nice very very nice lesson.
How well does the break fall work on concrete? Eventually, this will happen if you ever have to defend yourself on the streets
falling on concrete sucks, but knowing how to fall will greatly reduce the risk of serious injury
Sensacional muito obrigado
Muito bom!
Obrigado

YT deleted my other account 😒

great video, but pulling up after a throw is a mistake and it doesn't help the partner. On the contrary - he or she can injure legs due to that.
Hey Adam, thanks for your feedback, and thanks for watching
