Coll's game is so well rounded now, just beautiful. And the best part he's put the "gentleman's game" back into squash.
He can’t even beat Farag, Elias and Asal 😂
Pretty sure he is the only guy this year to beat Farag. And he has beaten all those other guys at some point. Regardless, all four of them are sublime players. Perhaps you need to jump on a court with them before leading your statements with “can’t even beat…”

The way Coll neutralizes Ibrahim´s superb skill and shot making is unique, no one else on tour is able to do that with such ease. Always a pleasure watching these 2.

There should be a men’s and women’s award for the players in the top 10 with the cleanest (non-blocking or crowding) squash. It’s refreshing to see great clearance by two top players. It gives the referees nothing to work with!
I used to wonder: why don't squash players go for more kill shots? This video is the reason why. Ibrahim attempts kill shots or drops while Coll is on the T. Coll reads it. Coll jumps on the shot and gets Ibrahim on the backfoot. Or Coll is able to hit winners from that position. Coll neutralized almost all of Ibrahim's attacks to the point of getting in Ibrahim's head. Ibrahim doesn't have answers to Coll.
Exactly so. Squash players rarely go for outright streaks the way Ibrahim did here and he was punished every time pretty much. These players bury their opponents deep back in the court and then the front court is more open and really available for drops and kills
Brilliant play from Coll. He did such a good job neutralizing the very dangerous Ibrahim. He is such a complete player now. And his game has also become really fun to watch. Go Coll!
Paul is more T-1000 than the diving Superman these days. Did he make even one error?

Haven't seen Coll play this well in a while. Brutal lesson for Ibrahim, who probably thinks - not unjustifiably - he's one of the best in the world right now.

Coll's using a different racket to normal I see. Anyone know what Head model it is?
Full commentary on this match says he's switched to a Head open throat from the Head teardrop on advice of coach Rod Martin, for better control. Not sure what model - it may be a new one.

I think it's the 2024 Head Radical 120SB.
Funny thing is because he's moving and covering the court much better there's no more need for the "superman" dives he was known for before. Also his shot selection has improved a lot. Didn't think he could neutralise Ibrahim so well.
Tried to bully Coll with power & velocity…
Just love watching a very hard hitter get neutralised by skillful soft to medium hitting play by Coll.
