What about the farmer in Great Britain who "sent away" a copper artifact he found on his property for analysis? The report came back "Michigan, USA"?

citation? random finds are not really that great as evidence

Don't know if what he said about the copper found in those "ox hides" from that sunken ship off Turkey is true. Another source indicated that the copper in those "ox hides" matched EXACTLY the trace elements found in copper taken from Isle Royale. Also, "ox hides" smelting pits have been found along the Ohio river. It's my understanding that the amount of copper that was used by the native Americans was tiny when compared with the amount of copper taken from those pits on Isle Royale. One expert said it would have taken hundreds of years and required hundreds of workers to remove all the copper that came from those mines. This presentation COULD be another example of the "academic community" avoiding evidence they don't like.

@@generaldisarray6488 There sure seems to be a lot of anecdotal evidence that Michigan Copper did, in fact, reach Europe. And it did so in HUGE quantities, enough to fuel the Bronze age.

"In his recent book, The Lost Empire of Atlantis, Gavin Menzies presents a very strong case that the Minoans were responsible for the extraction and export of the missing copper. The most compelling evidence from his book is listed below.

The tools used for mining in both European mines known to be Minoan and the Lake Superior mines are identical.
The pottery and utensils found in the Lake Superior mines are identical to those used in the Minoan civilization on Crete.
The mines in Lake Superior are the only known Bronze Age mines to contain copper with a purity exceeding 99%. Many European artifacts from this time period contain copper of this purity.
The mining of copper in Lake Superior ended abruptly and coincidently with the fall of the Minoan empire."

I went to copper harbor on the keweenaw peninsula which has this pure copper. On a plaque there it says “an unknown race” mined this copper thousands of years ago I thought this was interesting

I believe that most of the Prehispanic copper in Mexico came from Michigan and or Copper Hill Tennessee. A little testing would prove me right.

No one came across the Bering Straight. The Indigenous People in the Americas came from Iberia and North Africa. We do not have Asian lithics.

If he's really a practicing Christian he wouldn't be making jokes in the first place. As Yeshua said: "...every idle word that men shall speak they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned {Matt. 12: 36-37}".

@@criskatan Does a good Christian follow Deuteronomy to the letter?
Does a good Christian seek out the almost forgotten chapter's of the Bible left out by the canonization of the Bible by the Romans? In order to more accurately know the word of Yeshua as it existed when Jesus last walked the earth.

Presenter is insufferable, tried just skipping his Christian joke at a speech on Indigenous Americans, don't think there was a real established human flight path between Galilee and Lake Superior area 0 CE whatever BP. Then he had trouble with equipment? I gave up.
