- If our blood is red, then why do our veins look blue? Skin scatters more blue light than red. The effect is amplified even more by an optical illusion. Skin around the vein looks more red than the vein itself.

Skull is made of calcium just like bones and teeth,but hair doesn't and the differences of hair colors depends on the genes like for example

Yeah, for some people, their veins appear more bluish-green, like me. I think it depends on the pigmentation of your skin and how thick the skin is in those areas. The veins on the side of my feet look blue, almost purple, but the ones on my arm are bluish-green.

another main factor for it being blue is that s we know blood is how we supply our body with oxygen which is needed for aerobic respiration .the veins carry back deoxygenated blood back to the lungs where it touches the alveoli where it can become reoxygenated and is pumped through the right atrium and ventricle of the heart then distributed through arteries through the body evenly comes back through veins is pumped through the left atrium and ventricle of the heart and is pumped through to the lungs one again as the cycle continues and as we know blood when blood becomes deoxygenated it turns blue

There are so many inaccuracies in this video is not even funny.
Oxygen is not bound to free iron in blood as depicted (so much free iron in blood would be toxic) but to haemoglobin, which is a metalloprotein with iron ions.
Haemoglobin with less bound oxygen and more carbon dioxide, as it occurs in erythrocytes in veins, is more of a dark red which can appear blue through skin.
It becomes more bright red once loaded up with oxygen. It actually turns even brighter red when loaded with carbon monoxide.

You cant have blue blood, otherwise you would have an artificial blue-coloured blood generator. You can remove all the iron and add all the copper you want, but your blood will still be red due to the red blood cells.
