What we got: Sunday Exfoliator: I know it may be cringe but manual scrubs are best for me. Have to do some research, overall I do well with beads (I know walnut shell is a no no lol)…unfortunately I’ve learned the hard way ahas & bha - all acids darken my skin 😫 Monday - Weds Actives: CVS vitamin E cream w/ gentle retinyl palmitate. Was my staple for YEARS…skin is kinda over it now lol…once it finishes I’m tryna see what the hype is behind bakuchiol retinol alternative from Dime…I have 0.25 Trent but I’ve been too scared to use it lolll…both have their positives true retinoids reap superior results…I like how you can use the alternative bakuchiol or cacay while pregnant…theme is do what works for you! I’ll keep you posted if I like Dime 😉 Thurs-Sat Hydration: I’ve been getting into lightweight/gel moisturizers! Not every time a thick vitamin E cream ya know. So far the oat restore from Aveeno has been refreshing, ingredients are pretty clean, trying to see if can find something even cleaner. Vanicream isn’t bad either, def more of a new winter staple ☺️
