Gardiner just might have a shot at that 43.03 record. He's in good form and it's still EARLY.
Interesting race. Hudson Smith got out hard. Gave Gardiner something to cue off of and the at like 180m in he put down the hammer and re accelerated through 250. Gardiners last 100 wasn't any better than Norwood or Smith but he just powered through from 180 to 250 and put it out of reach.
World's is going to be even better than the Olympics. 43 low for someone I think.
If ever there was a man who just runs his own race it's Steve Gardiner. Always starts slow, gives the field time to go out hard and then starts the takedown on the back straight into the final 150m
