What happened to their search for person fitting your description carrying an axe - the alleged reason for the stop???? The four of them just wander off disgruntled and dejected in a huddle of collective confusion, OBVIOUSLY disappointed that they didn’t find anything to nick you for?
Surely, if the alleged grounds were genuine, there is still a person at large in the area carrying an axe who they SHOULD be searching for. Yet apparently not.
This suggests you were targeted. The presence of a PC, followed by a sergeant, then an inspector and another sergeant is extremely suspicious. My guess is that either your phone or your vehicle, or both are being tracked.
You need to ask a lot of questions to get to the bottom of this nonsense. And get your claim in. There were zero genuine grounds for that unlawful detention and search.
