I really like this video, especially since I see Cirrus aircraft on the field all the time. I've definitely been curious about them, but I think I'm going to wait until I get my license before I dip my toe into that Cirrus life! ✈️✈️✈️
I would recommend that for sure. I did both my private and instrument training in the Skyhawk but after 155 hours in one, I was burnt out on it. I knew that for time building, I wanted something with a little more push so I stepped up to the Cirrus and I have no regrets! The SR22 is the real deal but if you're doing short hops or staying locally, the SR20 is fine. Looking forward to seeing your video where you announce that you passed the checkride and you are certified to fly the friendly skies!
I know, it seems like I skipped over that. Actually, with the G6, the landing light is in the wingtip along with the strobes and nav and I did check both sets of lights. Thanks for watching!
On another channel. The pilot was doing his pre-trip inspection. He found a bullet hole on the top of the airplane. Someone had shot a gun off into the air and the bullet came down and hit his airplane. It cost him a a couple thousand to fix the hole.
That’s something that me and my flight instructor never do is check if lights are functional. Will definitely do that from now on.
Glad I came across your channel. Thanks for the content.
Glad you enjoy it!
@@fartherfasterhigher6157 totally 💯
Nice to see the hammer is secure. Never can tell when you're gonna need to fix something.
Thanks for spending the time to record that! Very informative
Glad it was helpful!
I start in the cirrus this weekend and found this so helpful!!! Thank you!!!
I'm happy to hear that it helped! You're gonna love the Cirrus - such a wonderful plane to fly.
Nice video man! greetings from Chile! keep going suscribed!
This really thorough and good review.
Thanks so much!
Great channel. Beautiful airplane!

@@fartherfasterhigher6157 Thanks fam for the advice! I'm on my grind!
Big fan of the Cirrus SR20/SR22's!
You fly them too?
@@fartherfasterhigher6157 I'm not an owner, but a big fan of them!
Great video! Would have liked to have seen you top up the oil as you mentioned. I’m sure you did it, it just wasn’t on video.
I learned a lot from this video! Thanks!!
Glad to hear it!
Living the dream!!!
Awesome thanks
We’ll done!
So the quart of oil it needed, was that because it burns oil? Or it leaked?
Yeah, just regular consumption. The plane is used a lot so it's fairly common to have to add a quart occasionally.
Never checked landing light?

@@fartherfasterhigher6157 which is weird cause the SR22 G6 also has the cowling landing light…wonder why that isn’t consistent across the sr g6 line
That's a good point. There is a landing light in lower cowling but not on the 20s. Not sure why that is though.

Yeah, Steve-o right? I saw that video.
Thanks for watching!
