him saying, "in any creative field, there might be a lot of people who have talent, but there's hardly any work ethic being seen" kinda opened my eyes as someone who wants to be a full time painter in a world that feels like you need to get lucky to do that. I struggle so much with consistently painting and actually working ON that talent to be seen. kinda an eye opener---crazy.
I love hearing about the books ppl read!! Im more of a fantasy / fiction reader but I've dabbled in self - help books before so ill def look into the ones you recommended 🙌🏾
He has no idea how much we adore him. These vids are my favorite thing in the world. Intelligent king thank you for all the recommendations. It means so much to me to be able to see someone who uplifts my spirit, inspires me and motivates me. You always push me in your own special, awesome way to want to elevate as a person. I love u lots
I love videos like this, It always makes me happy when creators talk about books that actually made a difference to them or books that they truly love so that I can read them and gain the knowledge they did. Love you Carrington, keep being absolutely amazing
I love your wisdom and your recommendation! I love the way you don't lie and overestimate each book, you're giving it a sincere critic We need more of this content!!
May I share a very random idea with you. From what I’ve observed, you seem to have a blind spot when it comes to emotions. I know a very random comment and not even relevant to this video. But your demeanor comes across as quite detached and very masculine. Striving for more balance by inviting some feminine qualities could be beneficial. I’ve noticed this consistently in the considerable amount of your content that I’ve watched, and I believe this imbalance might affect you at some point. Take this comment as you will; it’s just an observation from a stranger. Just a feeling I have when I watch you. Again, sorry for the unsolicited advice. Lol.
Thank you for making this video Carrington I actually really needed it because I am about to finish this book called "The 7 habits of highly effective people" I've already read some of the books you recommended such as The Almanack of Ravakant, 12 week year and Who Not How. I love those books so much, but still really need to figure out how to best implement my 12 week year. It has definitely helped me with my piano learning journey tho. I honestly also really need to go back and reread the Almanack of Ravakant and refresh my mind on its concepts, but I will do that after I check out your recommendation of 10x is better than 2x. I will also definitely check out the other books as well such as the richest man in Babylon and Lucky Me cause they sound extremely good as well! The last thing I will say is that if you haven't read it yet, you definitely should read the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The biggest concept that I have learned from that book is the concept of the emotional bank and how that is super important in maintaining relationships, whether family, loved ones, or business partners/customers through depositing trust. And how trust is super important in every aspect of our life. It also touches on the importance of Win-Win scenarios and how you always want to approach a matter or deal with the idea that both parties win and gain what they want and so no one feels like they are on the losing end, which therefore deposits trust into the emotional bank. Lastly, another important concept I learned was how empathetic listening is so much better than sympathetic listening as it allows the other person to feel like they are understood and, therefore, more willing to agree and discuss hard matters, make better deals, or grow better relationships from it. Thank you again for making this cause I asked for it last time and I really appreciate you because I am a reading demon and I will eat these all up. Ok I love you Carrington and the video and appreciate you so much!
WAIT THAT'S CRAZY BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW THAT HE READ BUT MY DREAM LAST NIGHT LITERALLY WAS ME RUNNING IN TO HIM AT A BOOK STORE THAT WAS ALSO A GROCERY STORE THAT WAS ALSO A GIFT SHOP. WE BECAME FRIENDS AND LOOKED FOR GOOD BOOKS TO READ. THEN HE GOT LOST WELL NOT REALLY LOST I JUST COULDN'T FIND HIM FOR A COUPLE MINS. THEN WHEN I FOUND HIM HE WAS SO TALL I'M LIKE 4''9 AND HE WAS PROBABLY 6''1? THERE WERE ALSO SOME OTHER STUFF TOO BUT I CAN REALLY REMEMBER.
Guys , I need some advice.. I’m Batman right, but no one knows . And I have to protect Gotham and stuff but I’m also just a girl .. I also feel like I keep on being present incorrectly, like for example, a few minutes ago I was on TikTok and a saw a video of someone dress as me and they were smashing a lemonade stand , and I would NEVER do something like that . I get being in the public eye and all but guys I really don’t know what to do .
Sacrament By Clive Barker for like whoa existence is magical and fkd up lol Swan Song By Robert R. McCammon humans must ALWAYS show humanity Indexing By Seanan McGuire its giving familiar but ooo very cvntee Patient Zero By Jonathan Mayberry just a lil fun and very could never be me - tldr[action hero +zombies ROSE MADDER by Steven King, strongly advice the audible version...even when we dont have a safe space we realize as women we ARE our own safe space :) trigger warning for dv

like instead of looking at it like "I need to get better at what I do" I should just do it more--to get results
