Some people have taken their 19kwh Tiago on long road trips exceeding 600kms one way. Probably for them since they don't understand the meaning of city car
@@proxieddomain not only how many charging stops. How long each charging stop would be because those cars/scooters are not capable of fast charging. Some people don't think about their requirements. Just blindly buy the car because it's cheap to run.
MG is innovating/experimenting a lot. still didn't like the removal of physical buttons in the name of minimalism. It challenges muscle memory built over years of driving
Thank you. I have been waiting for such a review for more than a month. After watching, I have decided to book Nexon EV. My main gripes are the looks and the screen based controls. Can't live with them for ever 😮
No issues with the design and interiors at all. Yes, a few more switches would have helped but that is manageable once the user gets a hang of it. What is not acceptable is the range which is quite low. Should have been 400+ kms for a dent in the EV market.
Infotainment system is lagging so much in the intial state itself might become literally unusable from long term point of view, kinda concerning since all the functionality is on the infotainment itself
Simply hate all of MGs dashboards & this one is no exception. It's a car for god's sake, a vehicle which runs on fuel...don't make it look like a gadget which moves.
Two questions: 1) will they replace the battery at free of cost once battery life is towards its end as they are charging for battery on rental basis? 2) For real world testing, why not most of your range test in City traffic?
Iam thinking to upgrade my 2018 i20 with ev car i think realistic range will be around 250-300km for my usage i need more range🙃😥 my monthly odo will be around 2500-3000km MG should launch long range version also😤 Initially thought of curvv 55kw version but TATAs fit finish nd QC is not upto the mark
I for one liked the design , sinple and futuristic . Not too jazzy like alcazar fir example. The van type look is welcome change in the sea of pseudo SUVs
Such a poorly thought out car! Imagine thinking you can woo customers with just fancy seats and pricing and not a usable touchscreen. You simply cannot focus on driving if u have to do everything on the touchscreen!
The car which has most focus on comfort is not good for highways for more than 3 hours, niether wil the battery last nor will the seat comfort, tata too has given all of control on the touch screen and gesture touch only which seems a trend now, with current prices of nexon even a lac rupee higher it still will command a better market than MG IMHO. and the inital BaaS that MG created had more people talking about the stupid scheme rather than the car. lets see what it comes up with.
Remember boyz.....MG stands for married girls..... NOT BOYS..... as for the car damn i wish the front bonnet is a bit longer. I would buy it if only this car is RWD and has a turbocharged i4 engine producing 128 hp and 150 Nm of torque Feel free to agree or disagree 🙂

Why was this review done on the highway when it has a real world range of 250kms. People will drive in mostly in city roads.

@@nujjigram You can take your 2kwh bike or 19 kwh car for 1000 kms trip too but how many charging stops and time it will take.

Jazz??
Nexon's EVs honeymoon has ended. Punch EV is way overpriced as well
Still they will sell better
Totally hate the "let's put everything inside the touchscreen". Too much tech?

It doesn't run on fuel, It's an EV 😝
Battery sold independantly is such a frickin joke
Its an option. They said they are giving you an option to buy the whole car as well.
@@sanketsapre but its electric so point buying this anyway
lol It's not sold separately. It's financed seperately as an option.

When is Maruti launch Fronx & Baleno Hybrid?
Putting majority of the controls in the touchscreen is a safety hazard while driving. This is borderline unacceptable.
Thinking of getting one over Nexon EV
To me, it looks bad.
Would be a grt choice , a futuristic look and plush interiors. Go for it

Touchscreen doesn't hamper the functionality of the car, you can literally turn it off and still drive the car.
