A day's work building a tire wall.. (in fast motion). 7 hours of labor turned into 25 minutes. Lots of hammering, lots of shoveling, lots of pick-axing, lots of sweat!
are you an experienced wall builder? Why tires? What inspired you? What type and size screws did you use to fasten the tires together? Did you use these screws on every tire ? What about the rebar you put in; was that for every tire, every course? What climate are you in? Did you base the depth of the footing channel on freeze thaw upheaval or are there other reasons for that? Thank you for the video, very informative and helpful. Any advice is deeply appreciated.
I'm thinking about doing this in my "spare" time I hope i don't get too "tire"d cause a job this big could take a "goodyear" to finish so i better get "rolling"
Nice job! Instead of a pickaxe to lift the side of the tire, I used a DIY hook, as the pickaxe is much heavier to move around, but it seems easier on your back (as you're leaning forward against it, not pulling it upwards like the hook).
