i think the fact that all of damon's demos throughout the years sound so similar is testament to how advanced of a producer he is in the studio. the fact that most of his songs start out similarly and yet the final products range across a wide range of genres is beyond impressive.
Why does the demo sound like it was recorded from 500 metres away? Was Damon just recording himself with a home video camera whilst having the reverb on the speakers turned all the way up?

So I found out that this was morphed into the universal and I grabbed the guitar chords for the universal and changed the strumming pattern and it was exactly this song
