I cannot think of a more important job regarding public health than the one that this guy is performing. A very diligent job of cleaning up afterwards is very impressive.

My Brothers and my Dad worked for a dairy with about 200 cows for a couple of summers and they became immune to Cow Shit in no time. they had cow doody on them all the time and it was no big deal. I am not to sure about people doody, OMG, I do not even want to get used to that nightmare, cow poopy is one thing, they eat grass and silage, people eat meat and all kinds of yuk, No, I don't think so................ Whew.
I watch of different drainage ' experts' and if I had a problem I'd trust you guys 100%. Nice work.

I find this stuff fascinating. I had to rent a snake and auger earlier this year in like January because we had roots bad (clay pipes, naturally) and that was exhausting doing that. Then we ended up getting another clog so we ended up calling a local drain cleaning/plumbing company and finally fixed up. We put that roebic foaming root killer in every once in a while and it helps. It's nice to be able to flush to the toilet without having waste come up through the cleanout hole. I respect gentleman and ladies that do what you do. Plus, these cleaning videos are satisfying to watch
One of the better clean up jobs. But then, unlike many sites we see, this one actually had an owner who probably kept it reasonably neat.
Not being in the UK - continually amazed (disturbed) that rainwater often goes to sewer! I know - old build and no provision. We would have rainwater go to street drainage - sometimes a soaker trench.
You do a great job of cleaning up and disinfecting. I'm sure your customers appreciate it.
I challenge anyone to try and eat a lasagne while watching this.. Would be like vlad the impaler at his dinner!.

Sorry some my find it hard to eat however my wife and I find no problem eating dinner while watching vids from MerseyRod. Even chili dogs with all the extras, however if RUclips had smellavision we would watch it still outside in stead LOL. I would bet good money that foul is not the word for the job smell they deal with… it would be a lot worse! Great job to these guys for the work they do.

I’ve had kitchen sink water back up from my pipes one time, never want that again! Yes, a lot of oil drains from the kitchen sink, along with small bits of vegetable and meat matter which then gets stuck to the pipes. Here in Japan, we have to professionally clean our drains and pipes every couple of years…. I also put in drain cleaning/dissolving chemicals now and again too.

You really do a great job sir, i certainly couldnt face some of the jobs you do. Me and my dad cleared out our front manhole drain in our front garden because there were tree roots in it, it wasnt very pleasent but we managed it. Unforunately some time later it blocked up again so we had to get somebody out to sort it in the end, turned out it was something to do with the neighbours and we ended up paying for it.

Andy, I wouldn’t worry what anyone else says mate, I served my craft apprenticeship in repair of vac tankers and water jetting units and done a fair bit of operating the kit too and you unblock the chokes the way I was shown, I now fix diesel /electrictrains and love to do a video but unfortunately we ain’t allowed! Keep up the good work lads

One of my C19th ancestoral relatives moved from Toxteth Park (when it was victorian desirable) to retire in St Asaph, they died at the ages of 87 and 89 !
Great job! I don't expect to see that kind of service here in the US. The drain companies here wouldn't do that total site clean up like you did. It was the hoof gp, that lead me to another cleanup page and then RUclips sent me your way...lol. There's something I find very satisfying about watching these videos. Cleaning up shit in drains maybe not everyones idea of satisfaction but if I was younger, I think I may have enjoyed doing that job.
Appreciate your attention to detail (whoever you are). Dirty job (I know) but in the end the reward must be fantastic and know your customers are very grateful, cheers.
My problem (in maintenance) is that I tend to want perfection and constantly getting shit for it but I don't care. It's about doing good work such as you!

Watching my local drain cleaners and there was 5 of them for one drain and drain cctv. Said to my local shop merchant "Mersey rods would do that drain with 2 max!" Turns out it's the 3rd call out for the same drain in a week!! You boys have high standards and wouldn't let any negative comments take that from you!! Shame I'm not in your district is all I'm saying

I see the pipes on the outside walls, where the house refitted years ago for indoor bathrooms, and that is why the sewers are so shallow in the ground. In the United States bathroom's where either outside additions or in the basement before they where moved into the living area for convenience This is when they started building new homes where they put the bathrooms and kitchens close together, so that running the pipes was more cost effective Also we don't water jet here, it's pump out first to a tank on a truck and then use a motorized screw router to unblock. Very different in England , I like the sanitizing to kill the sewer bacterial
