This did work on iPad mini 3, but I still needed to find the USB port that would do it. My USB 3.2 ports wouldn't do it, but the standard 3.0 ports did. And only the ones that came with motherboard, not a hub.

Have tried your trick on (iPhone 5S) and it worked perfectly. the Checkrain loader appear on screen and gets completed, however, after the jailbreak completed, it returned to home screen BUT locked requesting Apple ID + Password - i tried feeding my Apple ID and password which does not belong to this iphone initially - it says This iPhone was lost and erased. Enter the Apple ID and password that were used to set up this iPhone.

Method for 5s doesnt work with latest Checkn1x 1.1.2. I've tried all versions of Checkn1x and only 1.0.6 version worked this method for 5s.
Every time I try it is on setting up exploit and the right before trigger pops up for one second and disappears so I never get a chance to replug my cable please help
