What a interesting story you read. Nice to hear stories on ghost Diesels instead of just Steam engines and/or people as ghosts all the time. Well done here. Can't wait to hear the rest of the stories you have planned to read this year.
I like the novel idea about a ghost diesel. I don't think anything has been done since that old video from the early ttte fan content days on RUclips, "Percy and the Ghost Diesel." In real life, however, the number D297 was given to a Class 40 built in October, 1960. All Class 55s had four digit numbers beginning with D9.
So, bit of a possible blooper or error here, but at 2:56 Gordon hears an engine's pistons, like a steam engine. After listening to the rest of the story, why? D297 is a diesel. And again at 11:58.
That ghost story is fantastic TARDIS9 and KaneFan701. If D297 had been repaired and Sir Charles Topham Hatt had been among the richest families on the planet, D297 would still be alive today and would have any name from the bible such as Moses, Jonah, or Noah.

Spooky! Kanefan701, who wrote this story, also voiced both Innocent Timothy and Demonic Timothy.
