The oil lost its job due to the lack of pressure in the o-ring economy and moved in to the harness. times were tough but the oil managed. But now the oil needs to find a new place to live. 😢
Great video. This exact thing is happening with my truck. Replaced the EGR actuator and codes went away for about a week, but now they're back. I will check the harness in the morning, but why is there oil in there too begin with? Is it just something that happens over time or is there a separate issue that I should be looking into as well?
Hello I was leaking oil into my wore harness bc of the injector harness seal was bad. It will leak all into the wire harness and give many different fault codes
@@marknorth1686 Appreciate the response. I didn't find any oil in the harness. Ended up replacing the EGR valve and had a bad connector from the harness to the EGR actuator. Haven't had an issue since.
I have a truck it will not run if left overnight and I noticed the rail psi is 0 … a similar truck works good no complaints if left over night rail psi is 8.9 and starts and run as should ! Where should I start ?
You’re losing prime what I would do first is eliminate your chassis side. Put a hose direct to the fuel filter module to a 5 gallon bucket and leave it in wait a couple hours and see what it does. If problem goes away I will look into the oem fuel lines, air in fuel, or the water separator. If problem is still there you would need special tools to diagnose the low side and high side
Do i need to slow learn actuator or can o just install and stsrt driving ?

U have to do EGR actuator slow learn procedure, if you don’t do it , the code will back on around 500 mil

How much is to much oil ? Or is it supposed to be dry a all times?
It’s suppose to be dry at all times no oil what so ever
