I've been binge watching the "Side of Shrapnel" series and I have to say, I want this as a full length episodic series on like Netflix. Honestly, the animation is top notch and truly amazing. I feel so immersed in this universe and lore and can't wait for more. The world building is solid and as a scriptwriter and director myself, I truly love your writing Moon. Not many writers understand subtlety or nuance in writing. I always used a rule called the 2+2 Rule (whereby instead of just dumping exposition on people, you give them two interconnected elements and ask them to figure out the rest). And seeing it here is honestly refreshing. I honestly hope to see more Moon. Thanks for the great work and being an inspiration.

Brynn's voice actor killed it. He was such a good cast and really reminiscent of the Mandalorian.

Brynn was a phenomenal addition to the Shrapnel-Verse. He feels like nothing we’ve seen from the series thus far and I’m all for it. The way he interacts with the cast feels so fresh. His history with Alouette is compelling and I’m really excited to see if that gets played out more in the future. His interaction with Reznya was also just perfect. They both seem to have a silent respect for each other. They’re both warriors who understand the importance of hiding their faces, and the meaning that comes with showing their face to someone else. That’s why Rez knocks out Pavel, but allows Brynn to see her face. I would love to see that dynamic explored more.
If Brynn is a one-off character, so be it. He already left his mark on the series. I don’t think this is it for him, though. Moon is great at writing characters and he likes to keep his cards close to his chest. I don’t know what the future holds for our new Moondolorian friend, but whatever it is, it’s gonna be good.
Couldn’t agree more. Brynn being a genuine, good dude adds a nice bit of contrast to the rest of the characters we’ve seen so far who are generally portrayed as being overtly selfish and/or cruel. He’s like a Superman type character in a Mad Max type world.

God I'm torn so hard on the way lore is presented in this series.
Cause on the one hand I love the subtle nature of the storytelling, always making you ask questions with every new bit of info presented

its really hard to give a character such an interesting growth. I mean we have a figure that cannot move cause its limbs are not jointed, plus, it came from a meme on VRchat.
And yet Moon some how makes it into its own race, and gives them actual depth, granted its about as deep as an above ground pool filled to the very rim, but still pretty deep for them.
So personally I think having them go out of their way to do something nice for you, and they have both respect and earned fear for you, might be pretty nice. So Brynn seems to be the only one who gets it.
Ya their dumb, but they will do what ever it takes for those they consider a friend.

It’s a reference to Kill Contract 2 where Reznya asked Ugandan knuckles if he could get her a phone. He replied that he had no money.

I'm almost a little disappointed that you did a close up of her face at the credits instead of leaving it semi visible but still vague. I would've been fine with that, but it's still super cool, along with another appearance of the russian boi.
