On taking off the rear shock. You had it pretty much right but you need to pull it out and put it in where the rear muffler goes but to do it that way you also need to un bolt the rear shock lower link arm so it swings out of the way. I have a 23 and that’s how I’ve been doing it. Hope this helps.
Good to see you and have a chat at the ride day billy i really appreciate you taking the time to talk to me and the family, everyone really enjoyed it roll on the next one, edd's got a treat for you and the gang from me hope you enjoy 🍰🍪🍩🍨🎂🍦 ⚡⚡⚡⚡💪👌👊🔥🔥
Footpeg Pins go in from the top IMO. If you ever shear the cotter pin off at least the pin won’t fall out during a ride since it’s not upside down. Especially on a race bike.
@@jritchiejritchie2687 you’re saying the cotter pin? I have a 22’ te300i and the dowel sticks out equal amount on either side. Either way, Gravity & hard movements will make the pin fall out wayyyy easier going in from the bottom if the cotter pin is sheared. But to each their own
@@yz25075 got you. I mean it would be a freak thing for the cotter pin to shear but I ride 30-40 miles from the truck. I run them from the top just incase.
Vlog tip requests: Minimum laptop specs? Windows or that Apples thing? Recommended editing SW? Just bought a GoPro and editing the footage on a 8GB Ram laptop is giving me the shits! Also great to see Stan back again!
I have a 2023 KTM 300sx coming. I told the dealer to go ahead and change the rear spring out for my weight. And that’s how I made it easier on me to change my rear spring out 😜.
Another tip for fitting grips if you dont have a airline with you. Fill the grip with petrol and flick it all out. Slide the grip on while its still damp inside and when the petrol evaporates it sticks like glue. Raced with them like it for years and never had trouble. It takes seconds. Just make sure its all clean
Well to be fair i only ended up here through Tommy's channel, i kept seeing your mug on there so i figured i'd have a look and i'm a sucker for bike builds so... i'll probably stick around tho 😂
Great video as usual. Hope to see you soon in action again! After seeing this we can conclude that Husqvarna is just ‘ready to ride’ if you want to race call Stan 😅
We need more Stan tech tips videos

Good to see Stan and Billy back in action with Ed sorting the editing out 👌
I’ll take that as a compliment for my editing lol

I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on the new 23 chassis, I feel like my 23 is a lot stiffer than my 22.

Put your peg pins in from the top, if the clip comes off the pin it doesn't just fall out that way ;-)
Naaa
@@BillyBolt57 I guess it's nice to live dangerously... And race bikes see a bit more maintenance than the average shmo's bike.
Holey kawasaki billygoat, does that stand really cost 1155 euros?
Anyone know which footpegs he installed?
