Give money being wasted on overseas wars and squandered on illegals to service members and veterans to help them pay their bills!😊

The entire u.s government are warmongers that place profit before the people. Hence child labour camps within the u.s and 600,000 homeless Americans. The economy of the u.s is based on war. It is therefore a country so geared towards war the u.s. do not know how to live in peace.

Have you try to enlisted in the military it's hard you have to take a entrance exam tasting that asvab if you passed that then go to M.E.P.S that your 2nd stage of see if you passed that medical exam mostly more failed that too and if you passed all two stage you go basic training and 18 year old mostly not going passed 10 hard weeks of training mostly of them drop out after that you become a soldier then you in the military not walk in park like you think

Im 58 years old, retired Air Force and feel the last generation of parents failed the eligible recruits by lowering standards and by accepting mediocrity. It poisoned this generation. Why would they give up their "entitled" status to conformity even with the lowering of standards and maximum age changes to increase recruitment? I grew up in a time when we learned to tie shoes before kindergarten rather than resorting to velcro. We knew how to read a tape measure and tell time on an analog clock. We signed paychecks in cursive. We knew what spackling was by 8. We had pick up games and didn't rely on parents to drive us to practice...we ran there. Not everyone received a trophy and we kept score! We knew how to give change back when someone gave us a few cents over. We played outside and drank from hoses. We actually had to have the courage to talk to girls rather than make up a fake social media account and hide behind words. We earned enough money to buy a beater car and were proud to have it. We weren't handed a new car at graduation. We knew what patriotism was at an early age and many of us served for that reason alone to preserve and protect the right for this generation to have the creature comforts they enjoy. And we adapted quickly to technology and still outwork this generation! Tough love and a competitive spirit fosters teamwork and good morale. We need to stop the weak ass excuses and be real parents and mentors! We have only ourselves to blame for this predictable outcome!

I would largely agree with that comment, however. Your generation have been lied to, manipulated into wars. Not for national security but for economic reasons. Vietnam for example cost 58,000 lives of military personnel. And for what? So too for Iraq 4,700 dead.

We have to be very careful about focusing on quantity over quality. We're gotten a few new guys to my unit that are extremely unfit both mentally and physically. Obviously we're working on trying to mold them into model service members, but sometimes their habits and norms can't be broken by the constraints we have within our units in regards to things like "hazing" or traditional stern disciplinary actions.
Our primary strength has always been in technological advancements keeping us ahead in the fight and the quality service members to use them appropriately.
However, to speak to what the Army said, I do feel our recruitment methods are very outdated. Not to mention in today's climate of Anti-West sympathizers, it's hard to convince the kids that what we do is for the good. Our own media is propagating the US as criminals and warmongers. We're having to fight the brainwashing media has put on the younger generations.

@@555125kevin I agree some are wired to kill. Most are not, most are fed the lie that war is the only way. The Vietnam war for example. 58,000 lost. 250,000 injured, and many more subjected to PTSD, those who isolate themselves from the world to live off the land. Both sides in war are victims. This is now beginning to be seen in the Middle East.
