    I am always amazed by how much you get done . You wiz through the plot , you really do get on with it and it is good to watch instead of talking or lecturing on how to do things. Hands on ! No bla bla ! Great stuff . Rhubarb crumble getting closer. Nice

    Hi Malc, I've never transplanted parsnips. I've always been told its a golden rule to never transplant. I start mine off in the inners of toilet rolls.
    Great video by the way as usual 👏

    Basil needs lots of water. I saw video of commercial growers in Italy and they grow it under glass actually in water.

    For the rhubarb that has flowered this year Tony O'Neill suggests lifting and dividing the crowns at the end of the season. Might be something worth considering, especially if they've been in the ground for a few years.

    Hello Malc. Thanks for posting. That is certainly an excellent crop of rhubarb! We have done well with rhubarb this year and todays garlic crop is our best ever. I think that from a shaky start this is shaping up to be a really promising growing year 🤔😀

    OMG that pump would be perfect for me. How long have you had that Malc, how long does the battery last before needs recharging? Awesome amount of rhubarb, mine has been awful this year. Not one picking...

    • @MalcolmKingswell
      @MalcolmKingswell  3 года назад +1

      Shame about your Rhubarb Jo, the pump watered the whole plot and then moved a water butt worth of water around if that helps, the battery may not have been fully charged you could always get a couple of batteries if you needed more….take care Malc

    Hey Malc, did you always have that microphone clipped on (which i obviously missed) or is it new? If new, whats the difference - wireless?? I also thought those tomatoes at the end were very dry but on the closeup you could see they were fine, just a different leaf. Interesting to see what they taste and cook like?

    • @MalcolmKingswell
      @MalcolmKingswell  3 года назад

      Hi Gary , I’ve always had it , its a rode wireless mic linked to the camera. Toms are turning red now so I will soon know what they are like……Malc
