Was so proud to be a mancunian that day.
The name of the song says it all.
Don't Look Back in Anger.

🔝
proof that beautiful songs are more powerful than terrorism
Wut
Songs are a vessel which unite people. Which show we have the same feelings, emotions, hopes and dreams. From little kids, to people in their retirement, music crosses boundaries and cultural divides. It can bring together thousands for no other reason than it's fun. It can bring a message. It can hold memories. It can have people laugh with joy or cry with sadness.
The world would be as good as dead if we didn't have the ability to create, sing and share music with others.
This comment is powerful I salute you sir........ you sheep idiot
No one sang man. No one, bar one bird and one geezer. No one. Respect is them people shutting the fuck up, in memoriam.
@@adriandale9026 I'm assuming you are not from Manchester!!
What spirit and strength exhibited by the English. The lady who started singing was in the right place at the right time. God bless the U.K.
sometimes there is a moment where one person can show us the way forward through great sadness
All me respect for that guy who just started singing.

Amen, the world needs more people like this. Even one year on
Same.
Manchester Strong, just like we were Paris Strong, and just like we were Boston Strong.
Steven Garas great point!
knicksTexansFan #1 Thanks :)
Nyxtroos not cool
You have a great point, but don't forget all the other attacks of those cowards. Brussels, Berlin, Nice, Stockholm and how many more? We were not only strong after Paris, Boston and Manchester, but also after all the others. We have shown those idiots how strong we are, they only show us that they are losers. Music honestly is the best way, not the only way, but certainly a great one, to show those bastards that all the people over the world will stand strong. Even when things like this happen. We together stand strong!
Steven Garas What about Las Vegas? Columbine? Do you want us to do something about those attacks?
Never seen this before and Im in tears. Lost a dear family friend in the Manchester attack and it was so heartwarming to see all these people united in defiance against the terrorist who caused this awful thing to happen x
Sorry for your loss. Hate will never win. ♥️♥️♥️
so sorry for your loss

Thanks to all the people of Manchester....I'm proud of you🇬🇧❤️
@@orangeedo They were angry.. but justice won in the end, because the scumbag terrorist blew himself up and his piece of shit brother is going to rot in jail.
@@orangeedo I'm an airhead? Please explain...and be respectful as Manchester is my hometown.
@@orangeedo I didn't say it was never going to happen again! If you're going to give your opinion, at least get your facts right. You don't know me and worse still, byou don't know my connection to the bombing. Please don't elevate yourself to a position where you can dictate to me...you have no idea. I am insulted by your "airhead" comment.
@@orangeedo Ok listen.... I didn't realize that I was in " conversation" with someone who is certifiable. You have wasted enough of my time so don't bother responding to this post. Get the help you need for your mental health and think about using your energy to lift people up, rather than spouting your strange messages. Your rudeness and self importance is bewildering to me, especially given the topic .
We from Manchester are strong, we won't fall. Rest in peace to all the victims of this senseless tragedy. 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽

light a candle, sing a song, show solidarity, wait for the next attack.
keithlemon2010 great point
keithlemon2010 hey now great tunes like this will stop the terrorist and Islam for sure? :)
That's such a bad analogy it's hard to tell what kind of point you're trying to convey.
Latent Soul oh you know.
Latent Soul he'll just get on with things, its his way.
watching in 2019. It's really amazing the way a song can get people together.
I thought she was gonna scream “OOOOH BABYYYYY YOURE GONNA BE THE ONE THAT SAVESSSS MEEEEEE” 😂😂😂
I come back to this video every now and then. Its so beautiful. An amazing tribute. 🤍❤️
I'm just start to shaking and crying. My respect for you all
I'd be the one awkwardly standing there not knowing the words. If it's not Wonderwall or Champagne SuperNova, I'm clueless haha
We wish for peace. I hope.We love manchester. The world changes in oasis.
Still gets crying now 😭
The power of music
It takes one. Just one, to walk forward and lead the way, then many will follow. We aren't afraid.
A fine moment of lived humanity. It reminds me of a picture with similar content. As the Coventry cathedral was demolished by the bombing in WW2, the Provost Richard Howard wrote with chalk the words "Father forgive" on the charred walls behind the Altar. As long as you see something like this, there is hope for the mankind.
very sad bring to my eyes tears
Music will always be one thing that will bring the world together 🙃
This had a huge impact. Such a good thing to do at such a terrible time 🍻🏴
WAKE UP ... WAKE FUCKING UP !!
One word..chills
Respect for how brave the woman who started it. ❣️
Its beautiful but we should be getting angry putting are foots down saying enough is enough
liam Royce no.
That'll tell them.
Wtf are u on about
Thats what they wanted. They thought Britain would be destroyed after their cowardly attack but we stood together as the UNITED Kingdom
@@samurai2k455 well said mate!! Hate will never win!!
Singing is nice. Open your eyes about Islam will be more useful. Sorry for my english i am french. And believe me, you and us are in a very big trouble.
umm im muslim and i cried about the attack and the people from the mosque walked to the arena to protest for peace
lilhaaris I swear it’s scary how people can generalise 2 billion people because of an extremist group, that’s what fear does to people, and they’re killling our people more then anyone in the West. So sad. These people aren’t Muslims, they’re psychopaths
@@yasmin9479 respect
This was so awesome 👏
Scott Blanton im sure it comforted the victims family, how would you feel if your kids were murdered and the rest of the city decide to have a sing along?
+keithlemon2010 I'd be angry and the scum that killed my kid, not at a city that united and held a vigil for him.
Scott Blanton keep calm and keep on getting attacked
+keithlemon2010 yeah it sucks, but are you suggesting we do about it
Scott Blanton i suggest we all stand around, sing john Lennon songs and bury our heads in the sand like an isis i surgent.
I always cry if saw this video, and idk why😭

Nah it’s shite eh
You gotta have massive bollocks to do that during a munites silence especially though this one
First time seeing this. Teary eyed before work all the way from America
When they say Oasis is overrated.. show them this… one of many examples that brings people together… #liveforeverOASIS
If someone wants the lyrics, there you go:
Slip inside the eye of your mind
Don't you know you might find
A better place to play
You said that you'd never been
But all the things that you've seen
Slowly fade away
So I start a revolution from my bed
'Cause you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside, summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
You ain't ever gonna burn my heart out
And so Sally can wait
She knows it's too late
As we're walking on by
Her soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say
Take me to the place where you go
Where nobody knows
If it's night or day
But please don't put your life in the hands
Of a rock and roll band
Who'll throw it all away
I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed
'Cause you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside 'cause summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
'Cause you ain't ever gonna burn my heart out
And so Sally can wait
She knows it's too late
As she's walking on by
My soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say
So Sally can wait
She knows it's too late
As we're walking on by
Her soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say
So Sally can wait
She knows it's too late
As she's walking on by
My soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
Don't look back in anger
I heard you say
At least not today
Power of music!

We stand with MANCHESTER hand in hand we are strong we will not be beaten we will not let these terrorists win.....R.I.P. MANCHESTER ANGELS hope your partying hard up there.....
Don’t look back in anger?
Sure, let’s just accept it and move on.
If that was my family who suffered, I wouldn’t want these clowns singing “don’t look back in anger”
I have another song you should all sing together. It's titled Wake The Fuck Up by DJ Reality (European remix).
go on Lydia!
Cringe
What remembering people who died with the very song that holds this place famous... death isn't cringe my friend
left liberals would rather sing songs than call out terrorists
This was really beautiful.
No one else knows the damn words
I think there were about 7 singing
Music heals.That gentleman was brave
this gave me chills
I think about this all the time!! So beautiful!! Music is so powerful!! Humans are amazing!
Forgive me but, what was the minutes silence about? Ive forgotten.
One minute of silence is when you be silent for one minute and remember and respect to the people who lost their lives.
This is very moving
I ❤ Manchester
Moving.
How on earth could you down vote this? 106 truly disturbed people out there.
Every time I see it I just cry.
I was in my garage with the thought process with this song, luckily they kept the mental agreement. I apologise for not being there to sing, but thank you. I listen to this a lot.
No. They should be angry. They should be demanding that their own government prioritise their safety.
This nonsense is the very reason more people will die.
Bumblybee256 sure , but she sing that song because oasis is very important to Manchester , and that song is one of the best of oasis
Your not from Manchester if you don't know that song!
This gives me cringe. You may want to make something out of it but it is just a song and no matter how many people sing it, it changes nothing about what happened.
And the baybe destroy everything with his crying
Peace and love x
Nice trending
That’s awesome and the baby crying oh my lord
Feels like a church hymn being sung
Shit! One minute I am listening to random songs and all of sudden you got me all in my feelings!😢❤
The attempt was to reduce impact with anger from loved ppl passing. My thought was a song. To regroup mental ability to not retaliate. Forgive and move forward in a simple structured movement via song.
You did your job well. It looked almost spontaneous to most of the naive people your agency likes to 'manage.'
This is what is great about the UK ♥️
