Regarding your question about the tie-break round, this is the Summer Dance format (as far as I can tell): All battles prior to the top 12’s are one round each. Winners are chosen by the judges, and ties are broken by the crowd. Top 12 battles are two rounds each, after which the dancers are asked if they won or lost the battle. If both dancers say that they won, they can choose to dance a third round or ask the crowd to choose a winner via decibel score. If the decibel score is a tie, there is a third round tie-break. Winners are again chosen by the crowd. It’s an interesting system. There seemed to be quite a few battles this year that were decided by dancers deferring to their opponents. This included the hip hop final in which Alex the Cage gave the win to Joseph Go. When asked if he won or lost, Alex’s response was “I go back to practice.” Quite a moment.
I saw this battel more than 100 times and still want more .. by the way I dont know how i reach ur page today but It's nice to meet the guy who make me love poping since your first appear in SYTYCD .. and sorry for my bad English
I saw it live and it was OFF THE FREAKIN' HOOK!!!!!!!!! @jagesilas that organised it and kept the energy on fire is a frikken LEGEND and needs some serious props!!!!!
Yes robert you have to go there, i went there alone this year at last minute, best decision of my life. Popping was great but House and Hip Hop were next level. you should check Alex the Cage's rounds he was on fire.
They are so well matched and so respectful of each other, very classy just like you said. I love both of them defo don't have the skill to be judging anyone tho, so they both win in my opinion
summer dance works like this they choose the best 24 dancers and then they battle till there are the last 3( this year because they had 6 judges top6). then the dancers get to pick judge and battle them. at the end of the round both of the dancers get ask if they think they win or lose, if both say they won then the crow decides who won.
There is this video : Kite vs Frantick Boogie in SDF, i don't know what but i love this battle if you want to make an episode about it, would be great, just unsure where to find the video, they erased the original from RUclips, people just showing bits of it in their videos but really really dope one if you find it :)
Both of them were absolutly UBER insane! But for me, Haon won. Why? Because Hoan had slightly more viarity in his moves. Only slightly though. It was very close but Hoan went from stops to vibrations to doubles to slowmotions to stops to waving to beatkills to,... and ended it with robotics... Musicallity was off the charts for both of them but also here in this, Hoan had a slight advantage...
Not that Hoan isn't always amazing, but i feel like one day hes going to be as good as greenteck. After closer analysis of Kites 3rd round, the amounts of risk he took in that set is unbelievable, everything he did was a risk and he was absolutely all over the dance floor.
I'll take it as you guys can and do better than this dancers, if thats the case lets see your videos. Let the people judge you on your own dance competition.
As a dancer it sucks to see any style diss on other styles. As a tutter I'm constantly bein told "if youre not moving your feet, youre not dancing" or "breaking is so much harder to do"
@@0MrFreckles0 i never meant my comment that way i dont consider popping easier to do then any other style but to my eyes as a spectator (popping tutting animation ) r all the style i get bored of watching.I am sry if i offended u

These event has some of the best epic battles. Same as free spirit, battleism, gr8t18ers has some epic ones too but with up and comer dancers.
In the words of Otis Funkmeyer, Hoan is ASTONISHING!

"Art...Dance... and Culture... is what brings us all together". Robert "Mr. Fantastic" Muraine.
This Holland SDF was so huge in popping & hip hop battles.
You need to do a video on MT Pop whether it be on him as a dancer or a battle of his. Even his recent battle with creesto was sick.
AMAZING! PLEASE react to

You see another battle of kite vs hoan... because you can bring someone back after the judge battle so Kite called Hoan back.
