Hello, thank you very much for your very generous and competent comment. And yes, I "😉try" to play the articulation and the phrases as true to the work as possible. Compliments to you, you know what is hard on the harmonica (laughs, not just fast notes) Thank you for listening to my music. Stay healthy with best regards, Mr. H
Thank you very much Dana for your comment! I dreamed a dream😁😜😁 (That more people would see this small inconspicuous instrument as a full-fledged instrument) 😁😜😁 Please stay healthy with best regards to Maine, Mr. H
I started work on this after seeing your video. I really enjoy your phases and articulation. Where do I find a good backing track to work with? Couple things , my wife and I are very good friends with a woman who moved from Germany (to our state over 30 years ago, she became an American citizen last year). She has not been able to visit her family in Germany since COVID. I told my Friday morning UK chromatic harmonica zoom group about your Schindler’s List performance (we meet ever Friday 11 am UK time, it is 6 am my time here in the US), we share tunes and chromatic harmonica discussions. Annual 2-3 day chromatic harmonica festival and workshops will be in June again this year with several on zoom (last year all three days were on zoom live). You can see several of the teaching sessions on UK utube now. Final question…you use an apple computer…I have an iPad pro and apple iphone. What interface are you using to record? Do you record in garageband? I want to start recording myself to improve my playing skills. I have a fender amp, dynamic microphone made for my Suzuki chromatic harmonicas by Dorr Alder of Israel (slides on) it allows me to play and not need to hold a mike due my paralyze right hand (surgery complication that lead to me stop playing the violin and taking up the diatonic harmonica initially). I want to learn about self recording. Thanks for all your sharing. It is a true gift. Regards my friend. Dana via the coast of Maine
Hello Dana !!! A good backing track would be this one in my opinion ruclips.net/video/8uhspvYoH6w/видео.html I think I tried to watch the Zoom-Chat of the HarmonikaUK Festival in June but somehow it didn't work out, I don't know exactly what problem I have then (I then saw the end of it if I remember correctly when all participants played a piece one after the other) was that your festival? I use GarageBand for the reverb on my recordings. I don't record, I play it live on the video. For this I use my Zoom h6 as an audio interface connected to my microphone and via audio out I send the sound to my mobile phone with which I record the video. If I understand correctly you need an audio interface which you can couple with the iPad Pro, then you can connect to your mobile phone via audio out (interface) or (headphone output iPad Pro) with the Apple adapter 3.5 (headphone adapter) associate. I hope I could help you with best regards, Mr. H
…my wife is an admire after I showed her your videos, she is a pianist of over 60 years…
Thank you very much, greetings to your wife. Well that's perfect to have a pianist in the house😀❤️😀
Very nice Mr. H it is a very pretty song
@Tom Trapp Many Thanks. I thought exactly the same thing, the song is very pretty 😀❤️
Very well played. I am impressed with your articulation, a fundamental skill lacking among so many chromatic harmonica players.
