  • Lenovo ThinkPad T580 Disassembly and LCD Backlight Fuse Repair. Owner of this laptop replaced LCD screen without removal of internal battery. This resulted in LCD screen backlight not working anymore.
    What we do in this video:
    - removal of internal battery
    - keyboard removal
    - hard drive (SSD) removal and RAM removal
    - wireless (WiFI) card removal
    - cooling system removal
    - motherboard removal
    - backlight fuse location and fix explanation
    - thermal paste replacement
    - assembly of the laptop

    Thanks for the video. It seems that I’ve the same main board due to everything is the same. Should it be a fast acting Fuse?

      Yes, fast is recommended 👍. But any fuse with proper volt and amp rating will do it.
