While the Nike Mercurial football boots are still made out of Flyknit, Nike have taken a brand new approach - and in today's Vapor 13 and Superfly 7 Tech Talk video, JayMike well talk you through the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 and Mercurial Superfly 7 football boots which will be worn by Eden Hazard, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappe. They finally fixed the previous side swoosh I’m so happy and the new boot looks awesome. I also really hope people with wide feet can wear it :)

Does they fit wide feet?
I have very wide feet and the Mercurials has always fitted me perfectly. May be a little tight the first trainings sessions, but then it will adapt nicely.

The Vapor 13 Elite is very comfortable but the lockdown is absolutely terrible. My foot always slipped out of the boot hence why I had to ask for a refund and I will now try the Superfly 7 elite instead and hope that is provides a better lockdown

The Nike mercurial superfly is very cool
I would worry about the durability of them if the upper is really similar to that of the flyknit racer, which is notorious for its durability issues

The cut out in the heel is the same as Porsche’s reasoning to make the Porsche logo a sticker than a metal piece. To “save weight” lol

The 360 tarn is also used in basketball shoes for Kobe who happened to play futbol so he liked his shoes thin and snug

I think that the cut out in the heel is so that the soleplate pushes even further down into the pitch. its probably just 2 or 3 mm but its still more than nothing.

These launch colours ... the blacked out ones look like they are not for use by the pros. The swoosh is not easy to see.

they look too soft and thin no protection for the feet? i prefer a harder shell on the top so u dont feel much when u kick the ball
