Ah...The perils of hot rod building. It's how we learn. With the Holley you are not very likely to break the block. We did that back in the day with spout out tuning and FMU's. Love your energy and positive attitude. Hope this channel grows big
That 302 is a perfect block to play and experiment with they're Cheap and plenty around!!! Now throw a nice Dart in there and you you'll be ready to GO Fast!!!
She can go very fast without a dart block go checkout how fast some of these stock blocks go lol it's amazing and far beyond what backyard mechanics say a stock block is capable of
@@jonathanlawson4667 I agree she can but those stock 302 blocks really weren't made to put a bunch of boost thru them then again a lot of it is how she tunes it as well. Either way a cheap 302 is the way to go when you're still building your race car 1Luv
Yeah it stinks when the small problems like ignition causing the engine to breakup, you guys will get the ignition figured out and get your target dyno numbers. Great video, hope thing go well.
Start looking for a dart block if u push it past the 550-600 mark. 347 stroker kit will bring that fox to life with that turbo . bring u up to 600-700hp range . DART BLOCK tho only
Just found you channel! Awesome video...just subbed. I have owned 5 foxbody's but the Nasty Notchback is my favorite. Beautiful ride love that silver 💯
Definitely not a ford guy but let me say this, it’s so dope to see a female car enthusiast. And I don’t really subscribe to peoples channels but this is the first video I watched of yours and I will be subscribing!!! Keep up the good content
I just stumbled upon your channel. I got to say, it’s almost a rarity to see a chick that’s into foxes. Most of the chicks here in San Diego, Ca, drive BMWs or Mercedes. Definitely subscribing here. Keep up the good work! 👍
Oh course, no problem 😉. I grew up in 80s and fell in love with cars due to movies like, Cobra, Christine, The Wraith and so much more. Foxbody’s were very prominent in the 80s as well as the 90s, especially in film and music videos. I get more likes and thumbs up from my fox, than my ‘01 Gt mustang when cruising lol.
You seem scared of your car because u heard of block cracking??. But who actually split one that was properly tuned?? Don’t be afraid to drive yo car. Let it make all the power u comfortable with driving.
I wouldn’t say I’m scared of my car but I have commitments later on the in the year with the car and I can’t afford to take that risk. I was recently laid off (I found another job just last week , thank god) and I was just afraid my year would be looking alittle different with the car.
Did you dyno the car on the same dyno the first time? You say it was breaking up and the numbers definitely show it. Spark blowout? You also said it was lean but you didn't say why. Awesome build, nice to see a 302 in a Fox instead of an LS lol
Different dynos, but both were dynojets. Yeah I’m thinking it was def spark blowout, all my ignition is factory so looks like I’m at that point I need to upgrade lol. The lean part was just because we were at a new spot in the fuel table that we haven’t been to yet and needed to be adjusted a little, a couple pulls and it was cleaned up 😎
@@LalaFox92 Check the plugs, generally 1 step colder on low boost and a bit tighter gap is more than enough. I like to run copper plugs and change them sooner than later so I can keep an eye out for any detonation. A word of advice if you want it, I tend to take the highest MAP values I hit on the fueling and extrapolate them to the end of the table. This way I have a better chance to be in the ballpark of what the fueling should be at. Not always the case, but a better starting point nonetheless. Throw some new plugs in and try again. 🙂
@@LalaFox92 Sounds good, just don't go big cube stroker or you've got too much piston skirt coming out the cylinder sleeve. The tall deck 351 based stuff is the way to go. I had a '91 notch with 351/TFS wedge heads and Vortech T-trim years ago. Fun as hell.
@@LalaFox92 We had a SDS ecu that you had to enter the numbers for fuel and spark manually on a keypad. NO screen to see all the values at one time. Ol' Skool.
Sweet vid, so happy to see a young lady with a Fox mustang
Thank you!
Awesome machine!!
Thank you!!
Great video, glad you didn't scatter the motor on the Dyno.
Me too lol and thank you!
She sure sounds healthy
She is 😊

What camshaft do you have? It sounds really good!
I actually don’t know lol it’s a mild cam but I haven’t taken the motor apart that far to figure it out !

Great video thanks for bringing me along for the ride.☺

Love your fox 🦊 sounds good 👌
Thank you so much!

Ahhh cool! Small world!
Run the e85 or water meth. You won't have to worry about detonation. Car sounds incredible.
It’s on e85
@@LalaFox92 you've got alot of good stuff going on. Did you ever turn up the boost for your 500rwhp goal?

I love this car. Ima try and push my setup to the 600s on a stock block I just need it to last a season until I get the dart block. Best of luck
Best of luck to you my friend!
Keep the torque soft and I think you can do it. Torque and vibration/rpm are what crack these blocks.
Keep up the good work girl keep banging them gears.
Thank you so much!
Great video as always. It was great to meet you at Rockingham. Where is this dyno located? Everyone is booked up around Columbia.
