Govt should consider relaxation in skills assessment for degrees. PR pathway will be easier n faster. APRHA like Canada should be considering only written exams for assessment. Clinicals not required for those working in that same field and or sponsored by employers
Thanks for your recommendation. The government is doing their best to reform the migration settings and hopefully it will turn out to be a positive result.
This is quite informative thanks !!..I am aware that currently they are processing GTI EOI submitted in April 2021..any idea when they will start locking EOI of August 2021 ?
Short answer is no, there is no set time set or way to know. There are some positive signs in terms of the Department hiring more staff and considering processing important. Hope you get an invite soon. Chris

Hi Sir. My son has a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been assessed as equivalent to Canadian Masters Degree by WES Canada. Further he has following scores in IELTS General test as Speaking (8), Listening(8.5), Reading (7.5) and Writing(7). Overall score is 8. Does he get 20 points for Language Proficiency or 10 points. Please confirm.
Hi Srinivas, Based on the quoted IELTS scores for your son, he will get 10 points for proficient English. Mechanical Engineers are in demand in Australia and from offshore in the latest skills select roung only needed 65 points. Please note a skills assessment from Engineers Australia is also needed.
